Initially, there were supposed to be nine finalists, but on the very hand that sent Gavrila home, Rashid Ben Amar was all-in at the opposite table against the chip leader of the day, Patrik Jaros.

It was Ace-King against pocket Queens, a classic flip that didn’t go in his favor, leaving Rashid Ben Amar to settle for a prize of €20,950, including a WSOP Main Event Europe ticket.

We have reached the 32nd level of play, with 11 players still in the running to reach the final table. The blinds are currently set at 200,000/400,000 with a 400,000 ante, and the average stack is 14,300,000 chips, which is just over 30 big blinds. A ticket for the WSP Main Event has already been awarded, as the 12th-place finisher not only secured the cash prize but also earned a spot in one of the year's most prestigious events, at least here in Europe.

As for the latest eliminations, we’ve had to say goodbye to key players from the past few days, including the Italians Stefano Bertoldi, who finished 15th, and Gaspare Giglio, who came in 18th. Additionally, Dino Volkholz, mentioned in the previous post and runner-up at the 2023 IPS, has also been eliminated. However, the winner of the 2023 IPS, Jakub Oliva, is still in the running at the outer table.

Patrick Jaros, seated at the outer table, leads the field with over 28 million chips. The ever-present PistolPete from Germany joins him, a familiar face in the most recent prominent EuroRounders events. At the feature table, the standout player is the last remaining Italian, Valerio Marino, who still has about 30 big blinds to work with.

At the end of the level, the players can enjoy a 15-minute break. However, this break may coincide with the pre-final table pause since they are just two eliminations away from reaching the final table. Here's the list of all the latest eliminations:

Two players at two different tables—Lucky13 at one table and HeHe at the other—are currently leading the chip count, with over 450,000 chips each—equivalent to over 200 big blinds.

The number of entries today has increased considerably compared to the previous three days, surpassing the total reached until today. A massive influx of players from all over Europe, including Spain of course, is expected over the weekend, and the atmosphere here at King’s Resort is becoming increasingly intense.

Thu 15 Aug - 21:30 - 6th level with 162 entries!

Thu 15 Aug - 18:00 - CNP Main Event Day1 D begins!

We’ve just started here in the main poker room of King’s Resort with Day 1T Speed, featuring 30-minute levels, of the CNP Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of 1 million euros.

The event begins at level 100-200 with a 200 ante, and players start with an initial stack of 50,000 chips. Are already 54 players seated at the tables, each paying a 370-euro buy-in. Play will continue for five levels before the first 15-minute break of the day.

Thu 15 Aug - 03:00 - Chin Buffet ahead after a crazy last hand!

A sensational hand marks the end of play two hands early here at Day 1C of the CNP Main Event. The show's star is Arturo Paduano, who opens from UTG with a bet of 25,000, with blinds at 6,000/12,000 and a 12,000 ante. He faces an all-in squeeze from Daniel Granov with about 400,000 chips.

The squeeze is also justified by the fact that the player in the big blind has only five blinds left, so there’s some dead money to grab. However, the small blind, Germany's "Chin Buffet," decides to go all-in for around 220,000 chips as well.

The big blind also joins the action, prompting Arturo Paduano to call with 8-6 offsuit, putting himself in contention for a pot of over a million chips.

The board comes out with a ten as the highest card, and a six on the river allows him to win the side pot and maintain about the same stack size, while Granov is forced to leave the game with great disappointment, as is the player in the big blind. Meanwhile, "Chin Buffet", holding K-K, celebrates and is ahead of the count as the action stops.

All details of the day will be shown on our daily report at THIS LINK.

Thu 15 Aug - 01:45 - Paduano running hot, 16 left!

The action continues here at Day 1C of the CNP Main Event, with 16 players remaining and an average stack of 220,000 chips., while blinds have reached 4K/8K, ante 8K. The Italian player Arturo Paduano (head pic) is standing out with over 600,000 chips at the moment, which is equal to three times the tournament average.

Meanwhile, the highest neighbouring table so far, does not exceed 500,000 chips. There are still 20 minutes left in the current level, with two more levels scheduled, meaning another hour of play, unless the final 8 players are reached, representing 10% of the field.

Thu 15 Aug - 00:00 - Late reg closed, 71 entries!

The eleventh level of play is about to conclude in the upper section of the Main Poker Room at Kings Resort, where 32 players remain in the race out of a total of 71 entries, with Late Registration now closed.

Play will continue at the 2000-4000 level for about ten more minutes with an average stack of 110,000 chips, before moving on to level 12 with blinds of 2000-5000 and a 5000 ante.

After the thirteenth level, there will be one last break for the day. However, it’s important to note that the action will end as soon as the final eight players are reached.

Wed 14 Aug - 22:00 - 9th level of play with 48 left!

We have reached the seventh level of play at Kings Resort, with 48 players still in the race out of 66 entries on Day 1C of the CNP Main Event.

There will be two more levels of play before the second 15-minute break of the day. At the level change, blinds will increase to 800-1600-1600 with an average stack of 68,000 chips.

Wed 14 Aug - 19:30 - 33 entries at the 3rd level!

We are in the midst of the third level of play at King’s Resort for Day 1C of the CMP Main Event, with 33 entries and 31 players still in the game. The buy-in is €370, and the starting stack is 50,000 chips. Currently, the blinds are at 200/400, with an average stack of 53,000 chips, as there have only been two eliminations so far. Play will continue for two more levels before the first 15-minute break of the day.

Several players who have already participated in the first two flights over the past few days are seated at the tables, including Italians Riccardo Basso (head pic) and Simone Piazzini. Piazzini was eliminated last night on the very last hand, which you can find a few posts down on our live blog or in the final report of the day.

Wed 14 Aug - 03:00 - "Lucky Mr.M" is Day1 B chip leader!

Day 1B of the CNP Main Event concluded slightly ahead of schedule thanks to the elimination of Simone Piazzini, who went all-in preflop against the day’s Chip Leader, “Lucky Mr. M.” Piazzini held K-Q against pocket queens, but the Slovakian player came out on top, bringing the action to a close as the field reached 3 players left.

All details will be shown on our daily report at THIS LINK.
