🇸🇰 "Lucky Mr.M" flies on CNP Day1 B!

Entries 29/ Left 3

The second flight scheduled this week at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, where the CNP Main Event, the Circuito Nacional de Poker, is taking place, ended slightly ahead of schedule.

Upon reaching 10% of the field, specifically 3 players out of 29 entries, the action was stopped with the Slovakian “Lucky Mr. M” leading the pack, the only one to surpass the one million chip mark across both Day 1A and Day 1B.

On the very last hand, there was an all-in situation between Italy's Simone Piazzini and “Lucky Mr. M” who scooped a 600K pot with Q-Q vs. K-Q. Here’s what he told us at the end of the day:

"I was very lucky; the run favoured me right from the start because I tripled up after just a few hands with trip 6s against another player with a lower kicker.

There was a particular hand against a player where I had a pair of twos, and I tried to bluff to the river. At that moment, I thought, ‘Come on, one time, let two of hearts fall!’ And it did!

I had a feeling that my opponent would never fold his Ace, and having hit a lucky card, I went all-in, pretty confident that I’d get the call, and that’s precisely what happened. I was fortunate, I have to admit. No, I’m not a professional, but I play often and am delighted to have finished as the chip leader.

The Top 5

As mentioned at the beginning, only three players qualified today: the aforementioned “Lucky Mr. M” with 1,042,000, Czech player “Drax” with 288,000, and Romanian Marius Serban Moldoveanu with 120,000.

Below is the complete list of today’s qualifiers, which bring the total to 8 when combined with the two flights played so far.
