In the end 25 move on to the Final Day (out of 412) playing all the levels present today: the only exception in case there were 24 left before the 27th level expired.
The numbers of the FpF Main Event made everyone happy, organization and players alike, as the guaranteed amount was vastly exceeded, and starting at 2 p.m. they will play for a first-round €100,000 coin, plus a ticket to Day1A of the WSOPE Main Event worth €10,000 (prize reserved for the first 6 finishers).
The most rapacious this day was Germany's Felix Grossmann (photo above), who jumped into the lead right on the final table thanks to the 11 million and 100 thousand chips he bagged:
"I started with 950K and had a fair amount of luck in the crucial showdowns," says Felix Grossmann, "First Aces against Kings for a huge pot, then two coin flips with A-K, first against 10-10 and then against Q-Q, managing to catch the Ace on the river!"
The Top 5
On the ball throughout the tournament, "Golub" (photo below) ended up at the feature table and closed above ten million, albeit only by 750 thousand chips.
In third position instead is the one who dominated Day 2 from start to finish, the German "Der Psychopath" (photo below) who manages to fit 10,750,000 in the bag, practically an eighth of big blind, or thereabouts.
Fourth place goes to Frenchman Etienne Zeggai (9,375,000), while in fifth is Slovak "lakyluk17" at 8,500,000.
Among the 3 Italians left there are Simone Piazzini (7th at 7,700,000), Marco Di Persio (11th at 4,400,000), and Michele Tocci (15th at 3,425,000).
