This was the second day of play here at the Casino di Sanremo after yesterday's break and 194 more entries have been collected on Day1 B: this is again the highest number ever for the second flight of the Sanremo IPO.
It's a fantastic start that promises a full house over the weekend, so much so that entries for the 7 p.m. flight on Friday are already sold out. And now to the details of Day1 B, which at the end of the 13th level saw the player Iryna Tsikhanskaya (pictured above) come out on top, able to accumulate 572,000 chips at the end of the day:
"Everything was fantastic, Magnifique! I always had a great time in San Remo. This is the third time I've come here to play. I skipped the EPT Monte Carlo on purpose to come here, and I'm so happy with my choice. Also, I had the opportunity to see some old friends and make some new ones!
Iryna has been very active on Twitch during the pandemic period: 'I've been trying my best to keep the viewers entertained to keep them all at home and avoid infection! 😜 Now I travel the world with a backpack and don't stream anymore, but if the opportunity came up to get a good offer, I would gladly go back!
How did it go today? I think I made fewer mistakes than the others and it was my first bullet.... I saved some money for shopping!"
The Top 5
Second place in the count goes to Frenchman Andre Guedj (515,000), who has always been in the upper parts of the count since the start of the day. Third place instead goes to the indefatigable Andreas Fröhli (runner-up last year right here at the IPO), who once again packs a hefty stack (437,000 chips for 109 BBs on the restart).

BOUNTY ITM - Simone Locatelli triumphs after a 6-way deal
It ended with a back-to-back for Simone Locatelli who also triumphed at the Bounty ITM after having pocketed yesterday's side event.
