🇨🇭 An explosive "Stellinga" leads IPS Day1 D!

Updated: Oct 12

Entries 166/ Left 19

The fourth flight of the weekend’s poker action at King’s Resort has just concluded, where the Main Event of the IPS, with a guaranteed €1,000,000, is underway.

There were 166 entries today, including 126 unique entries and 40 re-entries. A total of 19 players advanced to Day 2, more than those who qualified from the previous three flights.

Leading the field is Swiss regular Stellinga, who accumulated 1,058,000 chips by the end of the day.

How did it go today? Definitely well. I got off to a great start with a double-up and then slowly accumulated my chips.

No, it’s not the first time I’ve ended as chip leader on Day 1, and I must say that everything went quite well every time it happened.

Let’s hope I can repeat that here since I’ve already made a final table at the IPS but couldn’t win it. Who knows, maybe this time things will go better.

The Top 5

As for the Top 5, besides Stellinga, the chip leader with 1,058,000, we have the German Smentana at 927,000, followed by the Italian Giovanni Orsino at 760,000.

The Polish Gabriel Dobromir Rimar, with 701,000, and the Serbian Milorad Stojasavljevic, with 667,000, complete the top five. Below is the complete count with all 19 qualifiers.
