The 53rd edition of the Italian Poker Sport, with a guaranteed €1 million prize pool, couldn’t have started under better circumstances, as the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Europe is taking place as we write this.


In the last edition, Israeli player Ran Shahar triumphed (CLICK HERE for the full report), taking home €208,500 plus a ticket for the WSOPE Main Event. Who will take home the Eurorounders’ Flower this time around? Let’s find out together!

13 Oct - 02:00 - Two more levels on Day1 H!



We have reached the 14th level of play in Day 1H, Speed, with 30-minute levels here at the Main Poker Room of King’s Resort. Out of 587 entries, 115 players remain.


The average stack is 255,000 chips, with blinds at 4,000/8,000 and an 8,000 ante. In the next level, blinds will increase to 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante, and play will continue for two more levels before the breaks.


The chip leader from Day 1G was the only one to surpass 1,500,000 chips—let’s see if anyone in this final flight can beat that score.





12 Oct - 23:30 - "Shakkal"atop on Day1 G!



With a nice river value-bet with Q-Q on Q-6-6-x-x "Shakkal"wins the last important pot of the day and consolidates his chip leading on Day1 G with over 1.5 million chips. All details, pics, chip leader's interview, and more will be shown on our daily report at THIS LINK.




12 Oct - 22:00 - Penultimate level on Day1 G!



The penultimate level of play is about to end at Day 1G of the IPS with a guaranteed one million euros, the first flight of today, as blinds have reached 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante.


There are still 101 players remaining out of a total of 741 entries, with an average stack of 370,000 chips. On the opposite side of the room, Day 1F has reached the seventh level of play, with one more level to go before the third break of the day.


At the level change, blinds will rise to 800,000/6,000 with a 1,600 ante and an average stack of around 80,000 chips.


The room is highly crowded today, so much so that some tables have been moved to the upper area, usually reserved for cash games or satellites.






12 Oct - 18:30 - Third break on Day1 G, Day1 F begin!



We have reached the final moments of level 10, the last one where registration is still open. However, late registration will remain open during the 15-minute break, which the 277 survivors of day 1G will enjoy soon.


When play resumes, the blinds will be 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 ante, and the average stack will be 132,000 chips. On the left side of the room, the day 1H speed event is underway, with 30-minute levels and 145 entries so far. The flight has just started, so stay tuned for all the updates.





12 Oct - 16:30 - Over 650 entries at the 7th level



The seventh level of play is about to conclude here at Day 1G of the IPS, with a €1 million guarantee. The entry count has reached 669, with 386 players still in the running.


The blinds are 800/1600 with a 1600 ante, and the average stack is 86,000 chips. After this level, players will enjoy the second break of the day. Additionally, we remind you that in about two hours, Day 1H will kick off, featuring 30-minute levels.





12 Oct - 13:30 - First break!



We’ve reached the first break of the day here in the main poker room at King’s Resort, where the first flight of the day, Day 1G Normal, with 40-minute levels, is underway.


So far, there are over 400 entries, and registrations continue to soar, with a rush expected when the second of two scheduled flights begins. As always, we anticipate a great day of poker for the Italian Poker Sport Main Event. Stay tuned!

12 Oct - 03:15 - Justrememberwhy is Day1 F chip leader!



Towards the end of the day, Hungary's "Justrememberwhy" scooped a huge pot with Set of Sixes, forcing his opponent on a triple call with Top Pair Top Kicker and jumped ahead of the count; below is the showdown picture. 12 Oct - 02:00 - Last two levels on Day1 F!



The last two levels of play in Day 1F Speed of the IPS Main Event with a €1 million guarantee, with 63 players still in the running out of 356 entries, while the blinds have reached 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante and an average stack of 282,000 chips.


The IPS Turbo Bounty is also in progress, capped at 180 entries, with a total prize pool of €24,810. Eight players are battling for the first prize of €3,847, plus, of course, the bounties.





11 Oct - 23:00 - Kamal Boughareb is Day1 E chip leader!



Kamal Boughareb stole the scene at IPS Day1 E, being the only player to cross the 1 million mark with Day1 D chip leader "Stellinga." All details on our daily report are at THIS LINK.


11 Oct - 20:15 - Last break on Day1 E!



Last break of the day for the 84 survivors on the first flight, while Day1 F has already reached 140 entries after 4 levels of play.


Day1 E will keep going until the end of level 16, as with large fields, it is improbable that the action will stop before the time, like in the past days.


11 Oct - 17:45 - 360 entries on Day1 E, PLO underway!



As the ninth level of play is ending at Day 1E of the IPS with a €1 million guarantee, with blinds at 1000/2000 and a 2000 ante, 155 players remain out of 360 entries.


Everything is set for Day 1F Speed on the opposite side of the Main Poker Room. As for the morning flight, the average stack is 120,000 chips, and there is still one more level to play before the close of late registration and the third break of the day.


The IPS Pot Limit Omaha is also in progress, with 29 players out of 81 entries, featuring a prize pool of €24,364 and one level left for late registration.


11 Oct - 16:15 - 30-minute break for the 185 survivors!



Second break of the day here at King’s Resort, where Day 1E-Normal is taking place, with 40-minute levels, part of the IPS with a €1 million guarantee. We’ve reached 333 entries, with 185 players still at the tables, currently enjoying a 30-minute break.


The last level was 600-1200-1200, and when play resumes, the blinds will increase to 800-1600-1600. Let’s not forget that from 6:00 PM, the second flight of the day in SPEED format will be available, with 30-minute levels, Day 1F.




11 Oct - 13:15 - First break!



The poker room is getting crowded as time passes, with over 300 entries at the first break of the day. The action will resume in 15 minutes with blinds 300/600 and an ante of 600!



11 Oct - 11:00 - Day1 E kicked off!



11 Oct - 03:15 - "Stellinga" on top of IPS Day1 D!

11 Oct - 01:45 - Late reg ended with 166 entries!



The 14th level of play has just ended at the upper section of the King’s Air Resort, where Day 1 of the Speed event is still underway with 28 participants out of 166 entries and an average stack of 300,000 chips. Blinds have risen to 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 ante.


Two more levels, or about one hour of play, remain before players bag their chips. Will anyone surpass Day 1C’s chip leader, "Abracadabra", who amassed over 800,000 chips? Stay tuned to find out.





11 Oct - 00:15 - Late reg ended with 166 entries!



As we write this, we’re in the middle of the twelfth level of play here at the Main Poker Room of King’s Resort, where Day 1 of the Speed event officially has 166 entries, with 46 players still in the running for a spot in Day 2.


The blinds are currently at 2,000/5,000/5,000, and the average stack is 180,000 chips. Play will continue for about another 15 minutes before the final break of the day.



10 Oct - 22:00 - Over 150 entries at the second break!



Level 8 is about to end, with blinds now at 800/1600/2600 and an average stack of 89,000 chips for the 84 players still in the game out of the 151 entries recorded so far. At the end of this level, there will be a 15-minute break, and two more levels of late registration will remain open. After that, we can provide the official numbers for the day.


Many familiar faces are present on Day 1, likely players who stayed at King’s Resort after participating in the WSOP Europe. We’ve spotted Andrea Ricci, the chip leader, or one of the chip leaders, from Day 3 of the WSOP Europe Main Event, sitting at a table next to Aliaksei Chernak (first on the left, pics below), the 2023 IPO Master Sanremo champion.




10 Oct - 20:00 - First break of the day!



Following the excitement of the WSOP Europe festival, which concluded with Simone Andrian’s victory in the Main Event for €1,300,000, we are already moving forward to Day 1D of the IPS with a €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.


After the early levels of play, there are already 83 registered players, and the number continues to rise. At the moment, 62 players remain in contention at the fourth level of play. The game will resume after the usual 15-minute break with blinds at 300/600 and a 600 ante.


10 Oct - 18:00 - It's time for IPS Day1 D!

10 Oct - 02:00 - Nine players left at the last break!



We're down to 9 players at IPS Main Event Day1 C with blinds 3K/6K, ante 6K and an average stack of 320K. As soon as we reach 6 players, the action will be stopped, so stay tuned to know who's gonna make it to Day2!


10 Oct - 00:00 - Simone Andrian is the WSOPE Main Event Champion! Late reg closed at IPS Day1 C



It's time to celebrate for all Italian poker lovers as we have our first WSOP Main Event winner: Simone Andrian just won his 3rd bracelet and scooped a 1.3M prize in cash!


On the upper part of King's poker room IPS Day1C jsut closed the late reg with 54 entries and 14 players on the go. Blinds are now 2K/4K, ante 4K and the action will stop at 6 players left or at the end of the 16th level of play.




9 Oct - 22:00 - Second break of the day!



It's time for a small break for all survivors at IPS Main Event Day1 C, which has now reached 46 entries with 3 more levels of late reg open!


In the meantime, the WSOPE Main Event keeps going with 1.3M up for the winner! Here's a few more shots of the day.





9 Oct - 20:00 - First break at Day1 C, Andrian heads-up for the bracelet at WSOPE ME!



We are at the first break of the day here at King’s Resort, where Day 1C of the EPS Main Event with a €1 million guarantee is underway. There are currently 35 entries, with 27 players still in the running. When play resumes, the blinds will be 400-800-1800, with an average stack of 60,000 chips.


Meanwhile, the heads-up battle of the WSOP Europe Main Event is taking place, with Italian player Simone Andrian, who has been the chip leader for most of the Final Day, leading the charge in pursuit of the bracelet and the world champion title.





9 Oct - 18:00 - IPS Day1 C begins!



9 Oct - 02:00 -"Blackrock" ahead of IPS Day1 B!



Todays' flight ended with large advance as the action stopped at the 14th level as soon as 5 players were left at the table, following the short stack elimination.


"Blackrock" has taken advantage of the situation and led the pack with over 700K in chips. All details, pics and chip leader's interview will be available on ur daily report at THIS LINK.


9 Oct - 00:00 - Two Italians at the WSOPE ME Final Table, end of late reg at IPS Day1 B!



This is a small parenthesis about WSOPE Main Event, which has just reached the final table with two of the best Italian players at the moment, Enrico Camosci and Simone Andrian.


In the meantime, IPS Day1 B is down to 12 players with blinds 2K/4K, ante 4K and a 180K average stack, while the entry count has stopped at 43, 7 less than yesterday's flight.


The WSOPE Closer has ended as well, below are a few pics of all we mentioned above.





8 Oct - 22:00 - 17 left at the 8th level!



All survivors played the first level after the second day's break, and the blinds reached 600/1.2K, ante 1.2K, and an average stack of 85 K.


We're now 17 left, with 29 entries recorded and three more levels to get in or re-enter. On the upper part of King's Resort, WSOPE Main Event Day 4 is underway, with Simone Andrian holding a massive chip leading.




8 Oct - 20:00 - Three tables at the first break!



The second flight scheduled this week started relatively slowly. We had just reached 25 entries at the first break of the day, with 22 players still in action.


At the resume, blinds will increase to 300/600, ante 600. A few well-known regulars have joined the action today, including Niki Prela (head pic), who doesn't miss a single Eurourounders event!




8 Oct - 18:00 - Day1B kicked off!




8 Oct - 02:30 - Dimitrios Nanos ahead on Day1 A!



The first qualifying flight ended with five players left with two more levels to play (theoretically). By rule, the action has to stop when 10 percent of the field is reached.


The best among all partecipants was Dimitrios Nanos (of Greek origins despite the German flag), who accumulated 705.000 chips. All details of Day 1A will be shown in our daily report at THIS LINK.


8 Oct - 01:00 - Three more levels to play, ten left!



Martin Cabrel has also joined IPS Main Event Day1 A, with 49 more entries for a total of 50. Ten players are still on the run.


We're now playing the 14th level with blinds 3K/6K, ante 6K, and an average stack of 250 K. As scheduled, the action will stop at 5 left (10% of the field) or the end of the 16th level.


In the meantime, the WSOPE Main Event is down to 52 players, with Enrico Camosci, Simone Andrian, Fabio Peluso, and Andrea Ricci still in!



7 Oct - 23:00 - 43 left at the 10th level!



Late registration is about to end here at King's Resort Main Poker Room. IPS Day1 A is now underway, with 25 players out of 44 entries.


The blinds are now 1.5K/3K, ante 3K, while the average stack has hit 91K. Late registration will be open for the whole level plus the break, starting in about 20 minutes.

7 Oct - 21:00 - End of 6th level!



We just ended the 6th level of play here at King's Resort, with 34 entries and 28 players still on the go. The blinds are 500/1K, the ante is 1K, and the average stack is 60 K.


On the bottom part of the poker room, WSOPE Main Event Day 3 is underway with 87 players left, and WSOPE is closed with 200K guaranteed! Did you recognize the guy in the pic above? 😜
