đŸ‡«đŸ‡· “Sharky” left everyone in the dust on Day 1D!

Entries 215/ Left 26

Day 1D ended after 16 levels of play at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, where the PP Tour Main Event with a guaranteed €500,000 prize pool took place.

The second flight of the day saw 221 entries, adding 26 more players to Day 2, which will take place on Sunday afternoon. In total, 66 players are now guaranteed to participate in the tournament's second phase, with three more flights still to be played.

France’s ‘Sharky’ dominated the competition, amassing a monster stack of 1,828,000 chips and earning the provisional chip lead in the overall count. Here’s what he had to say at the end of the day:

“How did it go today? We arrived late, around 6:30 p.m., and I registered as soon as possible for the second flight. Everything went smoothly until the last 4 levels, where I built a significant stack in preparation for Day 2.

How did I do it? The bluffs worked out, the value was paid, and everything went perfectly. Is this the first time I’ve been the chip leader after a Day 1? Absolutely not! In fact, I often manage to accumulate a lot of chips. The problem always comes later! Hopefully, I’ll break the curse this time!”

The Top 5

Besides the aforementioned ‘Sharky’, we find the familiar ‘PistolePete’ from Germany in second place with 943,000 chips, followed by his fellow countryman ‘Mann vom Mond’ with 903,000.

Rounding out the top 5 are two more Germans, ‘Abrechner’ (611,000) and Dian Juma (570,000). Below is the complete chip count of all 26 players who qualified for Day 1D.
