The second of the two flights scheduled today here at King’s Resort for the PP Tour Main Event, with a guaranteed prize pool of €500,000, has also concluded.
There were 347 players, 47 of whom qualified for Day 2, which will occur tomorrow afternoon. In total, we had around 800 entries today. One more flight is yet to be played, scheduled to start at 11 AM this morning. Following that, Day 2 will begin at 5 PM.
The day's best performer was Attila Ozturk from Turkey, who managed to finish with 980,000 chips. Here are a few comments he shared with us at the end of the day:
"It went really well today. I had a lot of fun. Yes, it’s the first time I’ve finished as the chip leader on a Day1.
I hope things go even better in the coming days. I’m a regular here; yes, let’s say I treat myself to a tournament at least once a month."
The Top 5
In the Top five, apart from Attila Oetstuerk, we have the Polish player Wieslaw Klimczak with 915,000 chips, followed by the Italian Cesare Marletti with 836,000.
The Israeli Ron Yedav, with 830,000, and the Polish player Jakub Ziedzic, with 746,000, are completing the list. Below is the complete list of the 43 qualifiers from Day 1F.
