The Day 1 G-Turbo of the PP Tour Main Event in Rozvadov, with a guaranteed prize pool of 500,000 euros, has concluded with 131 players and 68 advancing to Day 2, which will take place shortly.
The best performer of the day was Swiss player imitrija Bogdanovski (pic below), who bagged 966,000 chips. Here are his thoughts immediately after the event.
“Today was my first bullet, but I’ve been here since Saturday. I’m really happy with the stack I’ve accumulated. The key hand was actually the last one of the day, where on a flop of A-8-K with two Diamonds (I had Top Pair/Top Kicker and a Flush Draw in Diamonds), we went all-in, with my opponent holding a set of 8s.
Luckily, between the Turn and the River, I managed to hit one of my outs, and here I am! No, I’m not a professional, but I really enjoy tournaments. Let’s hope I do well later too!”
