The first flight of this Saturday 24 June here at the Perla Resort & Entertainment, Day1 C of the ReMida Poker Team, came to a close, with another 185 entries and xx qualified for Sunday's Day2, scheduled to start at 5pm.
Alessandro Morale (photo below) of the 4-bet Swiss Club was the winner of this long day, which began at 14.00, bagging a good 600,000 chips, which at the start of the second act of the tournament will correspond to 200 big blinds.
What the chipleader said
"I closed a poker at the beginning and immediately double-up, putting me in a very comfortable position," Morales said. "And then, the truth was, it all came together because they started to throw them at me a bit.
Another important hit came right at the end, where I arrived at the preflop showdown with J-J against A-K, flop A-10-J, turn Q which gave my opponent the flush but on the river, another Dame came out and I made a full house.
The last table wasn't easy at all, seat 8 was pushing hard and it wasn't easy to contain it. On Day 2, however, we start with a great stack, I'm very happy!"
The Top 10
If Alessandro Morales routed the competition by also taking second place in the overall chipcount, Giuseppe Malcangi, second with 482,000, and Marco Candura, who completes the podium thanks to the 426,000 chips he has accumulated, certainly cannot complain.
In fourth place is Huan Jiaming (419,000), and Attilio Carbone completes the top five about ten blinds away with his 360,000 chips.
They are followed in order by Aldo Pezzotti in sixth place at 350,000, Gianluca Gallo (7th at 348,000), Maurio Spurio (8th at 345,000), Manuel Ferrari (9th at 297,000) and Emilio Nironi (10th at 295,000).
Giorgio Silvestrin (21st at 223,000, from the Golden Boys team), Vincenzo and Francesco Perrupato (25th and 26th respectively for 196,000 and 192,000 chips, from Team Pokerbull), Veronica Tuscano (23rd at 211,000) and Daniele De Feo (36th at 152,000) from Team Poker and Rossetto also passed the round.
