Entries 94 / Left 22
The second scheduled flight in this weekend of poker here at the Perla Resort in Nova Gorica and another 94 entries added to the 203 totaled on Day1 A, for a total of 297 entries reached in the first two days of play.
At the end of the day there were 22 players, decidedly fewer (in percentage terms) than those who went through on Thursday and, not by chance, only two managed to exceed 700,000 chips.
The chip leader of the day was Enrico Trainotti (photo below), who closed with 747,000 chips and took the lead in the overall count by adding up the results of both days.
He is followed a handful of blinds behind by Romica-Daniel Robosocchi (photo below), in splendid form thanks to the 724,000 chips stuffed in the envelope last night. The curiosity that unites the leading duo is that in both cases the two players have no team:
"I didn't see great hands," says Robosocchi, "but all the shots I played, although starting from the top, held. Normally I never close this high, but Day1 and Day2 I pass easily...It's the final days that are the problem!"

The first two positions of Day1B also correspond to the first two of the overall ranking. The same does not happen with Federico Lenzi's third place (fourth overall) as his 493,000 chips are enough to narrowly overtake Thursday's second and third-place finishers, but not chip leader Alessandro Campedelli (CLICK HERE for the full Day1A report)
In fourth place was one of the three 'Sardinians of the end of the season' who qualified for Day2 last night, Alessandro Pau, the best of his companions with 409,000 put in the bag. Andrea Sirigu and Daniele Dessì follow him at a distance in 11th and 12th place respectively.
Three out of three also for the Perla Lovers team, with Giovanni Socci 13th at 183,000, who joins David Testen and Mario Ripepi at Day2 who had passed on the opening day.
Closing out the top five was Alija Filipović with 360,000 chips, a stack of more than 100 BB if you consider the restart from level 1,000/3,000 at Day2.
