The tournament goes fast, and it's time for a new elimination: Goran Todorovic open-shoved for over 6M, Farcas has only 3M left and goes all-in as well from the SB, while Alexandridis tank-folded from BB. At the showdown, Todorovic showed Pocket Jacks against Farcas' A-To.

Before discussing the elimination, we must mention Nabil El Hage's performance at the final table, which involved blinds of 250K/500K, an ante of 500K, and an average stack of 8.5 M.
The shortest stack went all-in in the very first hand with 8ā¦ļø 5ā¦ļø from the BTN, finding Alin Cosmin Farcas's call from the BB with Kā£ļø 7ā£ļø. The board ran J-J-9-9-A, and it's a split pot.
A few hands later, Alexandridis opened from UTG, El Hage went all-in for 2.125.000, Alin Cosmin Farcas called from BB e, and Symeon did so. On 5ā„ļø Aā„ļø Qā¦ļø after Farcas' check, Symeon bet 2M and Farcas folded.
At the showdown, Symeon shoved Kā ļø 4ā ļø on a pure ICM bluff, while El Hage flipped Aā ļø K. Turn 7ā ļø, River Kā£ļø, and it's a triple-up for the shorter stack.

The Sharkbay Main Event's final table witnessed its first elimination shortly after play began, with blinds at 150K/300K. The hand unfolded pre-flop, featuring a crucial showdown between "Noizz," the shortest stack, and Yolcu Fedai.
Fedai, playing from the Hi-Jack, opened with Kā£ļø Qā£ļø. "Noizz," from the BTN, went all-in with 10ā ļø 10ā„ļø, holding a stack of about 3.5 million. After the blinds folded, Fedai decided to call with his stack of 5 million. The board came down 3ā„ļø Aā„ļø Qā ļø 9ā„ļø 3ā ļø, delivering a queen on the flop to Fedai, which was enough to secure the hand and eliminate "Noizz."

The final table was set spectacularly with a single hand in a stunning turn of events at the Sharkbay Main Event. Dalibor Milenkovic, already weakened by a previous showdown, went all-in with Aā„ļø Jā¦ļø from under the gun. Florin Adrian Bilan, covering Milenkovic in the stack, decided to go all-in as well with 9ā¦ļø 9ā„ļø. Not to be left out, "Emmella" also pushed all-in, holding Qā¦ļø Qā ļø.
The tension peaked when "Mexxess," holding the largest stack at the table, revealed Kā£ļø Kā ļø and joined the all-in action. The board ran out 6ā¦ļø 10ā„ļø Kā„ļø 3ā„ļø 10ā£ļø, delivering a dramatic King on the flop and securing a triple knockout for "Mexxess."

A player opens x2, SB makes 54K, BB folds, and I call, while the open raiser thinks about it and folds after SB invites him to go all-in.
I interject, saying that it's not fair to talk when multiple players are involved in the action and decide to pay. The flop is 9ā ļø 9ā¦ļø 3ā ļø, he goes all-in direct, and I, a little annoyed, take up the tease and call. Turn spades and river blank!"

With the late registration closed, we can finally announce the number of entries recorded in this second segment of Sharkbay Main Event: 309. Currently, we have 43 players in action: the action will stop at 31 left, while 37 players will get in the money for a CHF 750 min-cash.
Nabil El Hage (Day1 D chip leader, head pic) and Ralf Imdahl are doing great and ahead of the count. (Day1 E chip leader) and Dritan Kaleci, Gala 09 and many other regulars who qualified for Day2 A through the last three flights. Here are the first pics of the day!

After the second slot of qualifying flights, we have 55 players at the starting grid, ready to battle on Day 2 A and gain access to next Monday's Final Day!
Blinds will restart from 1K/2K, ante 2K thanks to the 3-level regressive formula: 12% of the field (considering all entries from Day1 C/D/E plus the new entries on Day2 B, as the late registration will be active for the first two levels) will get in the money while the action will stop as soon as the 10% will be reached. He was already among yesterday's qualifiers, but he decided to play again and got the 5K bonus! Ralf "FiftyOuts" Imdahl is the Day1 E chip leader; all details will be shown on our daily report at THIS LINK.

All survivors are now having the last break of the day, with Ralf Imdahl ahead of the count after knocking out two players with A-A against Q-Q and A-4o.
There's still one more level to play, and the situation might change, as we've seen in the past two days: will Imdahl manage to keep his leadership?

Surprisingly, after the chip leading gained on Day1 C, "AmadeusPrvi" decided to play again and is now in the Top 10. After break and colour-up, the action will resume with blinds 1K/2K, ante 2K.

Today's numbers seem aligned with those of the past two days, as we have 82 entries at the beginning of the 6th level of play and 46 players in action.

We're now in the middle of the 4th level of play, and the entry count says 62, with 39 players in action.
In about 20 minutes, all survivors will have the chance to enjoy a 30-minute dinner break. The action will resume with 400/800 blinds and ante 800, while the average stack stands around 78K. And now, let's look at the day's first shots.

The 5th flight schedule for Sharkbay Main Event, Day1 E, is now underway, with 27 players in action from the first level of play.
Blinds 100/200, ante 200, 50K starting stack and 40-min levels, plus the "chip leader bonuses" feature, which guarantees 10K for the first three places. We have seen fireworks in the past two days, and we believe something more will happen today! Stay tuned!

Tue 14 May - 02:15 - What a crazy final hand!
All right, before getting into details of the last (crazy) hand played at Sharkbay Day1 C, we will tell you what happened at the table close by, as it doesn't happen too often to see Quads VS Full House.
Daniele Polverino, with a big stack, slowed down with the second nuts as he "smelled something" (that's what he told us straight after he mucked his cards). The action in a nutshell:
Ali Ulvi Karabas opened from UTG, Claudio Baldini called from the SB, and so did Daniele Polverino with 6ā¦ļø 6ā£ļø from the BB.
The flop ran 5ā¦ļø 5ā„ļø 6ā ļø, all checked. Turn is a 4ā£ļø, Baldini bet 4K, Polverino just called, and Karabas raised to 12K. BB folded, and Polverino called.
On a 5ā ļø river,Ā Polverino bet 30K, Karabas click-raised to 60K, and Polverino didnāt pull the trigger with the second-best hand and call-mucked.Ā
With the first three positions still uncertain, on the last hand, there were fireworks at table 6 with āElramo,ā "AMADEUSPRVI", and Dalibor Milic involved in a crazy 3-way all-in pre-flop.
āElramoā open-shoved with Aā„ļø Jā£ļø (Stack 116K), "AMADEUSPRVI" with 10ā„ļø 8ā„ļø (stack 166.5K) decided to gamble and Dalibor Milic, withĀ Aā£ļø 4ā ļø (stack over 200K) joined the party.

āElramoā busted, Milic bagged 49K, and "AMADEUSPRVI" scooped a huge pot that led him to climb up the ranking and cash the 5K awarded to the chip leader.

The 10th level is about to end with 26 players on the go out of 94 entries. With the chip leader bonuses feature, the action will be spiced up during the final phase, and we'll be ready to see some fireworks at the tables!

The first two flights and the first Day 2 have already been played, and 35 players have reached the final act. Today, we restart with Day1 C, which is now underway at GCPoker Room.
Thanks to the chip leader bonuses feature, the first three places will be awarded CHF 10K, divided as follows: 5K for first, 3K for 2nd and 2K for 3rd. We expect to see a lot of action in the next few hours, so keep it up on our live blog!

The bubble phase lasted over half an hour until Dominik Andre Renner (pic above) was sent out in 44th place, and all survivors cheered for the CHF 750 min cash they had secured.
We're in the middle of the 8th level of play with 5K/10K blinds, a 10K ante, and an average stack of 430 K. Seven more eliminations, and Day 2 A will be over.

The 6th level of play ended with 53 survivors, who are now enjoying a 30-minute dinner break. We remind you that only 43 players will get in the money, while the action will stop at 36 players left, exactly 10% of the field.

Blinds just switched to 2K/5K, ante 5K, as the 4th level of play ended with 71 players in action and a 210K average stack. No luck for Egzon Krasniqi, who busted at the 3rd level of play, finding his Queens crushed by Nines with a nine on the flop.
The two Day 1 chip leaders are running well: "Leon17" reached around 900K, while Hasan Subasi is the only player to cross the one million mark. There are still two more levels to play before the dinner break; stay tuned!

With 356 entries and 96 players still on the go, registration for Day 2 A is closed: 36 players will get through, while the 12% (43 players) will get a CHF 750 minimum cash.
All survivors just returned from the first break, and the action restarted with 1.5K/3K, ante 3K with a 180K average stack. Here are the first shots of the day, enjoy!

87 qualifiers (plus all players who decide to get in now, as the late reg is still open), 40-minute blinds and three blind levels back thanks to the regressive formula: that's the set-up for Sharkbay Main Event Day1 B!
Ahead of the count is Day1 A chip leader "Leon17" followed by Hasan Subasi (Day1 B chip leader) and "Fischer", all with over 500K in chips.
The action will stop as soon as the field drops to 10% (there were 315 entries, so 32 players left is the bottom line), while the 12% will get a CHF 750 minimum cash.

There's still one more level to play for the 53 survivors in action on Day1 B, and the late registration will end at the end of the break (the last for today).
In the previous update, we talked about Egzon Krasniqi (pic above), who changed his mind and decided to give it a last try: he's now sitting with over 200K, while the average stack wanders around 140K.
The action will resume with blinds 1.5K/3K, ante 3K. Let's not forget the 3-level regressive formula for all qualifiers, who will come back this afternoon with blinds 1K/2K, ante 2 K.
