Entries 88/ Left 12
We're back on track at the GCPoker Room in Bendern, Liechtenstein, for the Day 1 B of the Warriors Main Event which today featured a CHF390 buy-in in Bounty mode from late registration onwards.
Up for grabs was CHF10,000 to be divided between the 26 survivors at the start of level 12 for a bounty of CHF384 each (10,000/26). Before going into the details, however, let's recap today's numbers: 88 total entries of which 39 re-entries and 12 qualified for Day 2 on Sunday.
In total, adding up the first two flights, there were 227 entries and 32 players already sure to take a stack to the next step.
The best today was Dritan Kaleci, a well-known face around here given his achievements both on the EuroRounders circuit and elsewhere. The hand that brought him atop is written on our LIVE BLOG and you can find it AT THIS LINK.
For Kaleci it wasn't a down day although the count says otherwise: "I didn't get off to a great start," said Dritan at the end of the day, "but I held on and in the last two levels luck was on my side!"
The Top 5
If with 837,000 it is Dritan Kaleci who leads the pack, the Swiss Christoph Spürri can certainly not complain, who closes with 617,000, the equivalent of 120 big blinds.
Completing the Top 5 is "Champion 1905" (401,000), a regular in these parts, as well as "Gala 09" (4th with 320,000) and Stefano Jöger (298,000). The full count with all 12 qualifiers follows.
