🇬🇷 Stefanos Spanidis leads the pack on Day2!

Entries 891/Left 21

The Day 2 of The Warriors Main Event here at the GC Poker Room in Bendern, Liechtenstein, concludes after 11 levels of play.

It has been a marathon for some, especially for those who started this morning with the last available flight, Day 1G, among whom the best performer was the Greek player Stephanos Spanidis, finishing the day as the chip leader with 4,600,000 chips. Here are his impressions at the end of the day.

"I started with 40 big blinds, qualifying through the flight played last Wednesday. There were many ups and downs; on three occasions, I had a great hand from the big blind and managed to call smaller stacks with good results. The hand that literally boosted me in the count is as follows.

I decided to flat the 3-bet from my opponent with 8-8, and on a K 8-4 board, I decided to check-raise all-in and got called by A-K. My feelings for tomorrow? Very good. I hope to reach the final table even though, to be honest, I don't really like being the chip leader!

In life, I have a business in the social media field and play semi-professionally, both online and live. My best cash? I won 7,500 francs at the last WPT here in Liechtenstein. Let's hope to do better tomorrow."

The Top 5

As for the top 5 positions in the count, in addition to the already mentioned chip leader, we have the Swiss player 'Happy Niko' with 4,440,000 chips, followed by Elyousfi with 2,950,000 chips.

Completing the top 5 are the Day 1G chip leader, Romanian Paul Adrian Covaciu, with 2,280,000 chips, and his fellow countryman, Bilan Florin, with 2,200,000 chips. Below is the complete count with all 21 players who qualified for this afternoon's final day.
