The first of the two scheduled flights for today, Day 1G, ended with 782 entries, advancing another 79 players to Day 2. Due to the high turnout, the flight ended ahead of schedule, even a level earlier, as the 10% field threshold was reached at the beginning of the sixteenth level of play.
The Top 5
The top performer today was the German Kadir Karadag, who managed to bag 1,225,000 chips by the end of the day. The second position in the chip count belongs to the French player Sutharsan Ariyanayagam with 1,218,000 chips, followed by the Italian Tiziano Bertella with 1,211,000.
Completing the Top 5 are “King of Kings” from Switzerland with 1,020,000 chips and the Italian Giovanni Vito Nitti Putignano with 1,016,000.
