Mon 24 Mar - 03:15 - Davide Ceglia wins BPC Main Event, Scognamiglio runner-up!
After about an hour of heads-up battle, the final chapter unfolds at Perla Resort, where Davide Ceglia lifts the Eurohunters trophy, claiming victory in the Balkan Poker Circuit Main Event. Thanks to a three-way deal, Ceglia secures €13,000, plus an additional €1,500 reserved for the winner.
The final hand sees him open from the button with J♠ T♠. His opponent responds with a 3-bet shove holding A♦ Q♦, and Ceglia calls with a commanding chip lead.
The board runs out J-2-3-5-3, giving Ceglia top pair and sealing his win.
Eros Scognamiglio finishes as runner-up, taking home €11,500 and the satisfaction of a deep run in the BPC Main Event.
Check out our full tournament report for Ceglia’s winner interview and all the final table details at THIS LINK
Mon 24 Mar - 01:35 - Davide Cojaniz out in 3rd place!

Davide Cojaniz ends his run in third place after two key hands played against Davide Ceglia, who takes control of the chip lead with over 80% of the chips in play.
Here’s how it unfolded.
In the first hand, after an open limp, Cojaniz puts in an isolation raise, followed by a three-bet from Davide Ceglia holding A-Q suited. Cojaniz flats with T-9 suited, and they go to a flop: K-Q-4. Ceglia fires a continuation bet, Cojaniz calls. The turn is a T, completing no flush draws but giving Cojaniz a pair. The action goes check-check. The river brings a J, giving Cojaniz a low-end straight to the nine. He leads out for 600,000—about one-third of the pot. Ceglia responds with a click-raise, and Cojaniz quickly folds.
Just a few hands later comes the final confrontation, again against Davide Ceglia. After Ceglia opens to 110,000, Cojaniz three-bets from the big blind to 500,000 holding A-K. Ceglia moves all-in, Scognamiglio folds, and Cojaniz calls.
No ace or king shows up on the board, and Ceglia wins a massive pot of nearly 100 big blinds, setting up heads-up play against Eros Scognamiglio with a huge advantage.
The final three players had agreed to an ICM deal before Cojaniz’s elimination:
• €14,000 to Davide Cojaniz, chip leader at the time of the deal
• €13,000 to Davide Ceglia
• €11,500 to Eros Scognamiglio
They left €1,500 and the trophy to play for, ensuring a fairer prize distribution.
Mon 24 Mar - 00:55 - Alicia crippled, then eliminated in 4th place — Scognamiglio climbs

Eros Scognamiglio opens from the cutoff — we’re down to the final four. Alicia, on the button, moves all-in. The blinds fold, and Scognamiglio calls with K♥ K♠ against Alicia’s 5♥ 5♥.
The board runs out 4♥ 3♠ 9♥ 4♠ 3♥, giving no help to Alicia and allowing Scognamiglio to double up, leaving Alicia with just a single big blind.
Miraculously, in the following hand, Alicia finds a triple-up that keeps her hopes alive — but only momentarily. Shortly after, she moves all-in with 7-7 for about three big blinds and gets called by both Davide Ceglia and Eros Scognamiglio. Scognamiglio holds 8-7 and hits trip eights on the board, sealing Alicia’s fate.
After spending much of the four-handed stage near the top of the chip counts, Alicia is eliminated in 4th place, leaving the final three: Davide Ceglia, Davide Cojaniz, and Eros Scognamiglio.
Mon 24 Mar - 00:50 - Alicia’s push-or-fold strategy collapses: down to third in chips

After putting on a show once the tournament reached the four left stage, Alicia switches to push-or-fold mode in an attempt to close it out. But her plan quickly unravels—first against Davide Ceglia, then Davide Cojaniz.
In the first hand, Alicia open-shoves from the button with Q♠ 3♠, and gets called by Ceglia holding A-J offsuit, creating a massive pot worth nearly 100 big blinds. With a starting stack of 1,800,000, Ceglia doubles to 3,600,000 at blinds 20,000/40,000, moving into the chip lead after a clean board runout.
Despite the blow, Alicia still holds a significant stack. A few orbits later, she faces an open raise from Davide Cojaniz, who has Q-Q. Sitting in the big blind, Alicia picks up T-T and throws in a quick 950,000-chip three-bet, almost without counting. After a short pause and some calculations, she slides a single chip forward to announce an all-in for 2,160,000 total. Cojaniz snap-calls.
The 80-20 in favour of Cojaniz holds, knocking Alicia down to about 1,000,000 chips—now sitting in third place.
Mon 24 Mar - 00:08 - Francesco Perrupato finishes in 5th place!

Another elimination — and things are getting wild here at the Perla Resort. Francesco Perrupato sees his run come to an end in 5th place, earning €5,000.
Once again, the executioner is Slovenia’s Alija Besirevic, who open-shoves with A♦ 2♣. In the big blind, Perrupato looks down at 7♠ 7♥ and, after some thought, puts a chip in the middle and makes the call.
The board comes K♠ A♦ 8♦ 6♦ J♣, giving Alija another 30-70 win — hitting the ace and sending Perrupato to the rail.
With that hand, Alija Besirevic becomes the overwhelming chip leader with 4 players remaining.
Mon 24 Mar - 00:05 - Massimo Pierluigi ends in 6th place!

Eliminations are coming one after another at the final table of the BPC, Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event — and this time, it’s Massimo Pierluigi who hits the rail.
Down to a relatively short stack, he moves all-in with 8♥ 9♥, but Alija Besirevic, sitting in the big blind, wakes up with Q♦ Q♠ and instantly puts the chips in.
The board runs out clean, no surprises, and Alija continues her unstoppable rise in the chip count.
We’re now down to five players remaining, and Massimo Pierluigi, who finished sixth, took home €3,700.
Sun 23 Mar - 23:55 - Dario Massara out in 7th place!

A surprise elimination hits the table as Dario Massara is sent to the rail. After tightening up slightly during the final table, he faces a direct shove from the cutoff by Alija Besirevic, holding A♠ 4♦.
Massara calls with a dominating A♣ K♠, but a lucky 4 hits the board, crushing the Italian’s hopes of getting his chips back. Neither the turn nor the river bring any help.
Alija doubles up in a rather fortunate fashion and returns to the top of the chip count with a stack of over 3 million chips.
Dario Massara exits in 7th place, collecting €3,100.
Sun 23 Mar - 23:50 - Jordan Srebrenic is the 8th place finisher!

We’re down to eight, and the action starts Under the Gun with Davide Cojaniz, who opens to 80,000 holding A♣ 9♦. Blinds are at 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 ante.
From Seat 3, Jordan Srebrenic moves all-in with 8♠ 8♦.
The flop comes 10♥ 9♥ 4♥ — three hearts on the board, and Cojaniz holds the A♥, giving him a flush draw to go with his pair of nines.
However, the turn and river both brick, and Cojaniz’s nine holds up against the eights.
Jordan Srebrenic is eliminated in 8th place, taking home €2,600.
Sun 23 Mar - 23:35 - Andrea Michelotto out in 9th place!

Open shove from Eros Scognamiglio, holding A♠ K♥, and he gets a snap-call from Andrea Michelotto, who tables A♦ Q♠.
The board runs out: 9♦ 4♠ 6♣ 3♥ A♣.
There was no help for Michelotto, and Eros’ kicker plays. Andrea Michelotto was eliminated in ninth place, earning €2,300.
Play resumes with 8 players remaining.
Sun 23 Mar - 23:20 - Mauro Vianello eliminated in 10th position!

We have our first elimination at the final table, and it’s Mauro Vianello who hits the rail. Short-stacked, he finds himself in the big blind facing an open from Alija Besirevic. Holding K-Q offsuit, Vianello shoves directly, and the chip leader snap-calls with K-K.
The flop runs dry, the turn gives a glimpse of hope with a Queen, but the river doesn’t complete any outs — Vianello is eliminated in 10th place, earning €2,000.
But right after that, the unthinkable happens. Following an open from Andrea Michelotto, Alija announces “all-in” while throwing in a chip, putting maximum pressure on the table with her big stack. Two seats down, Davide Cojaniz looks down at A♠ A♣ — takes a moment in disbelief — and calls off his full stack.
Alija turns over K♥ J♥, and the board comes: 6♥ 7♥ 10♥, turn K♦, river 9♠ — no help for Alija, and Cojaniz holds to secure a massive and hard-fought double-up with his pocket aces.
Sun 23 Mar - 23:00 - BPC Main Event Final Table is set!

We’ve finally reached the final table here at the Perla Resort, where the Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event can now officially announce its ten finalists.
There’s been plenty of action and major turnarounds, with Alija Besirevic emerging as the chip leader, holding an impressive stack of around 2.8 million chips.
Among his most notable victims was Davide Nutarelli, who fell to a brutal cooler. Holding ten-nine, Nutarelli hit a straight on the river with a board reading K-Q-X-X-J — but unfortunately for him, Alija had ace-ten for a higher straight and made the call to eliminate him in 16th place, earning €1,100.
Also eliminated shortly after were Roberto Riggio in 15th, Niki Prela in 14th, and Juanito Velasco Farre, who had been a key player throughout both Day 1 and Day 2. Juanito finishes in 13th place for €1,500, the same prize awarded to Daniele Trippi, who went out in 12th. The final table bubble was Marco Nacis, who still takes home €1,700 for his 11th-place finish.
The action will resume with blinds at 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 ante, and the following ten players will return to battle it out — their seat assignments and chip counts can be found below.
1. 🇸🇮 Alija Besirevic – 2,735,000
2. 🇮🇹 Dario Massara – 1,910,000
3. 🇮🇹 Davide Ceglia – 1,155,000
4. 🇮🇹 Davide Cojaniz – 1,155,000
5. 🇮🇹 Massimo Pierluigi – 1,065,000
6. 🇭🇷 Jordan Srebrenic – 760,000
7. 🇮🇹 Francesco Perruppato – 660,000
8. 🇮🇹 Eros Scognamiglio – 505,000
9. 🇮🇹 Andrea Michelotto – 490,000
10. 🇮🇹 Mauro Vianello – 270,000
Sun 23 Mar - 21:15 - Play resumes after the dinner break!

Back in action here at the Perla Resort, where the Final Day of the BPC Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event is now down to the final 19 players. The field has been reduced to two tables, and play resumes with blinds at 10,000/20,000 and a 20,000 ante. The average stack is now 560,000 chips.
Standing in sharp contrast is Davide Cojaniz, who is sitting on around 1,500,000 chips and was responsible for eliminating Johnny Mansutti, the unfortunate bubble boy who busted in 22nd place. It was a dramatic hand: Cojaniz held pocket Kings against Mansutti’s Ace-Queen — and what made it even more remarkable was that the exact same situation occurred simultaneously on the other table, with another player holding Kings against Ace-Queen. In both cases, the Kings held, but for Mansutti, it meant the end of his run.
Play is now spread across Table 24 and Table 25, with many of the familiar faces still in contention — including Niki Prela, Davide Ceglia, and Francesco Perruppato on one table, and on the other, Davide Nutarelli, Alija Besirevic, Andrea Michelotto, and Juanito, the Day 1B chip leader from Spain.
Action will continue for two more levels before the next break — stay tuned for updates as we move closer to discovering the lucky finalists of this Main Event.
Sun 23 Mar - 19:00 - Cojaniz on the top 3, 18K for first!

Quick update from the Perla Resort, where we’re right in the middle of Level 16 — meaning there’s still about 1 hour and 10 minutes left before the dinner break.
23 players are remaining, all battling for a spot at the final table. With 21 players in the money (for a min cash of €900) the bubble has officially burst — the first key milestone of the day.
The average stack is now at 465,000 chips, while blinds are currently 6,000/12,000 with a 12,000 ante, and will move up to 8,000/16,000/16,000 in Level 17.
As we walk around the tables, we notice that Day 1D chip leader Matteo Pasquetti is now short-stacked with around 150,000 chips.
Juanito remains in the lead, sitting comfortably over the 1,000,000 mark, while Davide Cojaniz is also past the million-chip threshold. Niki Prela is climbing as well, now with around 700,000.
Still in contention are Davide Nutarelli and Francesco Perruppato, while Alija Besirevic — a regular here at the Perla — is also gaining ground, sitting just above average with roughly 600,000 chips.
Sun 23 Mar - 17:45 - 26 left at the 14th level!

A quick update as we enter Level 14, with blinds at 4,000/8,000 and an 8,000 ante, and 26 players still battling at the tables.
There’s a slight shift at the top, with Juanito still leading the pack with around 1 million chips, but Davide Nutarelli is climbing back up and now sits with approximately 550,000.
Antonio Delucci, on the other hand, has made an early exit after running into a cooler on a Jack-10-10 flop — his opponent held pocket Jacks, leaving Delucci crippled with just 90,000 chips. He was eliminated shortly after.
Niki Prela is playing very well and is sitting on about 600,000 chips, while Day 1D chip leader Matteo Pasquetti is holding steady at around 500,000 — just above the average stack.
Also performing impressively is Dario Massara, who currently sits second in the chip count with just under 1 million. Davide Cojaniz, a regular presence in the late stages of tournaments here at Perla, is also above average.
Two more full levels remain, plus the 20 minutes left in the current one, before we hit the second break of the day.
Sun 23 Mar - 16:00 - First break on BPC Final Day!

Quick update after the early levels of play here at the Final Day of the BPC, Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event, where late registration has just closed, bringing the total number of entries to 214. There are still 35 players left in the field.
Play will resume at Level 3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 ante, and the average stack now sits at 300,000 chips.
Taking a quick walk around the tables, we immediately spot Juanito at the top of the chip count after winning a big three-way pot against pocket kings and a Queen-X. The board ran out Jack, Queen, X, X, Queen — and with Juanito holding Queen-Jack for a full house, he skyrockets to 1,300,000 chips after starting the day with 800,000. A Super Chip Leader right from the start.
A minor setback instead for Davide Nutarelli, who arrived an hour and a half late to Day 2. Fortunately, the regressive structure worked in favor of the Tuscan player who, despite an unsuccessful bluff, now sits with 260,000 chips — roughly 40 big blinds.
Also still in contention is Matteo Pasquetti, who’s off to a strong start with over 500,000 chips.
Several regulars of the circuit are still in the running, including Francesco Perruppato, Andrea Michelotto, Mario Ripepi, Niki Prela, Antonio De Lucci, and many others. Stay tuned — the action has just resumed here at the Perla Resort. Blinds are 60 minutes long, and play will continue until the tournament is over.
Sun 23 Mar - 03:10 - Matteo Pasquetti is Day1 D chip leader!

With a stack just 3,000 chips higher than Davide Nutarelli’s, Matteo Pasquetti claims the chip lead for Day 1D and secures third place in the overall standings heading into tomorrow’s Day 2.
All the details are available in our daily report at THIS LINK.
Sun 23 Mar - 02:10 - Last level of the day!

Level 10 is underway here at the Perla Resort following Day 1D. We’re entering the final stages of the day, with only 6 players remaining out of 28 total entries. The current blinds are 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 ante.
The final level will begin shortly, with blinds increasing to 2,000/5,000 and a 5,000 ante.
The average stack has reached 230,000 chips, and it’s an all-out battle for the top three spots, with the remaining players going head-to-head to secure one of the prizes reserved for the top 3.
Among them, Davide Nutarelli saw his stack drop from 400,000 to 230,000 in just two hands. First, he ran into a cooler with 2♠2♦ in hand on a 2♣7♣8♦ 8♣️ K♦️ board — full house beaten by his opponent’s pocket 8♠8♥, which made quads. Just a few hands later, another opponent hit the nut flush and scooped a big pot at Nutarelli’s expense.
Nutarelli is no longer in the top 3.
Sat 22 Mar - 23:50 - 13 left on Day1 D!

Level 7 is currently in play here at the Perla Resort for Day 1D, the second of today’s two scheduled flights. In about five minutes, players will head into the second break of the day, after which the action will resume at Level 8 with blinds at 1,000/2,000 and a 2,000 ante.
The average stack is now 92,000 chips, up from the 50,000 starting stack.
There are still 13 players left out of 24 total entries, including Davide Nutarelli, who arrived this evening specifically to take part in the late flight.
A reminder: €6,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top three players in tonight’s chip count — €3,000 for first place, €2,000 for second, and €1,000 for third.
Sat 22 Mar - 22:40 - Marco Valentini is Day1 D chip leader!

The Day 1C of the Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event has just ended, with Marco Valentino leading the 23 qualifiers with a stack of 264,000 chips. The flight registered a total of 54 entries.
On the other side of the room, Day 1D is currently underway, with 20 entries so far and 14 players still battling at the tables.
You can find all the details from the first of today’s two flights in our dedicated report at THIS LINK.
Sat 22 Mar - 20:20 - 8th level on Day1 C, Day1 D underway!

Yesterday’s action saw Juanito light it up, surpassing 880,000 chips and climbing to the top of the overall chip count. We’ll see if anyone can do better tonight — for now, Level 8 is in play, and two more levels (including the current one) will be played before the third break of the day.
Late registration remains open until the end of Level 11. In the meantime, Day1 D just kicked off on the left side of the poker room with 11 entries. Stay tuned!

Level 6 is currently in play, with blinds at 600/1,200 and a 2,200 ante. After this level, two more levels will be played before the next break of the day.
The average stack is 65,000, up from the 50,000 starting stack, and preparations are already underway for the second of today’s two flights — Day 1D — kicking off at 7 PM, featuring a €6,000 chip leader bonus.
Sat 22 Mar - 17:00 - Last level before the break!

We're approaching the first break of the day here at the Perla Resort, where Day 1C of the BPC, Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event is currently underway. So far, the flight has registered 38 entries, with 34 players still seated at the tables.
Blinds are currently 300/600 with a 600 ante, and play will resume at 400/800 with an 800 ante. After that level, there will be a 15-minute break.
A reminder that there will also be an evening flight, featuring a €6,000 chip leader bonus — split between the top three players: €3,000 for first place, €2,000 for second, and €1,000 for third.
Sat 22 Mar - 02:45 - Juanito is Day1 B chip leader!

With a massive stack of over 800K chips, Spanish "Juanito" takes the lead on the overall count and is awarded a 5K chip leader bonus! All details on our daily report at THIS LINK.
Sat 22 Mar - 01:20 - End of 9th level!

We’re writing to you as we’ve reached Level 9, with two more levels to go before the next break. The number of entries has reached 71, with 21 players still battling at the tables. The current blinds are 1,000/3,000 with a 3,000 ante, and from the next level, blinds will go up to 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 ante.
At the top of the chip count right now is Spanish player Juanito — already a Shark Bay winner in Velden — sitting on over 500,000 chips, while the average stack has climbed to 170,000. That puts Juanito at nearly three times the average.
Alessandro Scernino, Roberto Roberti, Mario Ripepi, and other local regulars are still in the field.
Sat 22 Mar - 00:20 - 70 entries at the 8th level!

After the second 15-minute break of the day, the 32 survivors in the Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event Day 1B have returned to the tables to battle it out with blinds at 1,000/2,000 and a 2,000 ante. The average stack has reached 409,000 chips — just over twice the starting stack.
The total number of entries has climbed to 470. There are still three more levels, plus the current one (which started just before the break), for players to register late or re-enter.
Stay tuned for the official numbers from this second flight here at the Perla Resort.
Fri 21 Mar - 23:00 - Amid 6th level!

We’re right in the middle of Level 6 here at the Perla Resort, where Day 1B of the BPC, Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event, has already recorded 64 entries. Currently, 38 players remain in the field, with blinds at 600/1,200 and a 1,200 ante.
After yesterday’s outstanding performance by Davide Ceglia, everyone is looking to see if someone can top the massive 785,000-chip stack the Italian built.
So far, the top stacks are hovering around 100,000 chips, as the average sits at approximately 84,000.
Taking a quick walk around the tables… we spot today’s chip leader in Seat 2 at Table 19 — Antonio Pugliese (pictured above) with roughly 250K.
Players will complete this level and play one more before heading into the second 15-minute break of the day.
Fri 21 Mar - 21:40 - First day-break!

First break of the day here at the Perla Resort in Nova Gorica, where Day 1B of the BPC Balcan Poker Series Main Event has registered 57 entries so far. Currently, 41 players are still in the field, playing at blinds 400/800 with a 2,800 ante.
After the 15-minute break, players will return to their seats with the new blind level set at 500/1,000 with a 1,000 ante.
We’ve seen several players from yesterday return to the tables, likely drawn by the €10,000 chip leader bonus. Among them was Antonio Delucci, who, however, ended his run early today — but he’ll be back on Sunday with a stack of over 400,000 chips, which will be worth around 200 big blinds when play resumes at 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 ante.
Same goes for Niki Prela, though, unlike Delucci, he’s still in the game today. Yesterday he finished fifth in the provisional chip count.
Alongside them are new and familiar faces — clearly Perla regulars — such as Mario Ripepi, Alessandro Scernino, Roberto Roberti and many others you might spot in the photos here on the blog.
StuckMind has climbed to 70,000 chips from the 50,000 starting stack, and we’ll be back with updates in about fifteen minutes as play resumes with Level 5.
Fri 21 Mar - 19:40 - Day1 B is underway!
The second flight scheduled for this weekend here at the Perla Resort in Nova Gorica has just started — we’re talking about Day 1B of the Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event, which, in an exceptional move, features a chip leader bonus for the top three players at the end of the day.
A total of €10,000 is up for grabs, distributed as follows: €5,000 to the first-place player, €3,000 to the second, and €2,000 to the third in the provisional standings.
There will also be a chip leader bonus tomorrow, Saturday, March 22, although this will only apply to the evening flight and will amount to €6,000 instead of €10,000.
The buy-in for the tournament returns to €350, after the €300 special price offered yesterday. Late registration is open until the end of Level 11.
Players start with 50,000 chips, levels last 40 minutes, and the action is already underway — we’ve just entered Level 2.

The game is currently at 800/1,600 with a 1,600 ante, and play will resume at 1,200/2,400 after the break.
A reminder that late registration remains open until the 11th level of play, meaning there are still four full levels for players to register or re-enter.

As we move through the sixth level of play here at Perla Resort, the Day 1 Special Prize has reached 46 entries, with 29 players still in action at 600/1,200 blinds with a 1,200 ante. Play will continue at this level for another 30 minutes before transitioning to the next level, 600/1,200 with a 1,200 ante, after which a 15-minute break will follow.
Several familiar faces have already taken their seats for Day 1A of the Balkan Poker Circuit Main Event, including well-known circuit regulars and Perla grinders such as Giorgio Silvestrin, Antonio De Lucci, Davide Cojaniz, Davide Ceglia, Andrea Iocco, Andrea Michelotto, and many others. Among them, Niki Prela, currently the chip leader, stands out in Table 19.
Thu 20 Mar - 21:40 - First day-break!

This is the first break of the day here at Perla Resort, where after four levels of play, the 29 remaining players out of 40 entries are taking a 15-minute break.
The action will resume at 500/1,000 with a 1,000 ante, with the average stack now exceeding 68,000 chips from the 50,000 starting stack. Play will continue for three more levels before the second break.
