Entries 49/Left 9

Day 1A of the Balkan Poker Circuit Main Event has just wrapped up here at Perla Resort in Nova Gorica, registering a total of 49 entries by the end of the 11-level late registration window, with 9 players advancing to Day 2 on Sunday.
Today’s flight featured the Special Prize offer, allowing players to enter for €300 instead of the regular €350, which will be the standard buy-in starting tomorrow.

Leading the way is a well-known regular of both the circuit and the Perla itself: Davide Ceglia (pic above), who bagged an impressive 796,000 chips.
Not new to deep runs, Ceglia once again showcased his skills throughout the day, finding himself in several key spots—as evidenced by the photo below—even though we didn’t get a chance to speak with him directly.

Among today’s best performers, behind Ceglia we find Davide Cojaniz with 425,000, Antonio De Lucci with 405,000, Andrea Michelotto who closed with 285,000, and the ever-present Niki Prela, who ended the day with 242,000 chips. Below is the full chip count list of all 9 players who advanced to Day 2 from Day 1A.
