Entries 71/Left 15

Day 1B of the BPC Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event has just ended. A total of 71 entries were registered today, and 15 players will advance to Sunday’s Day 2.
It was a day marked by the Chip Leader Bonuses feature, which awarded €5,000, €3,000, and €2,000 respectively to the top three players at the end of the day.

Taking the biggest slice of the pie was Spanish player Juanito, a well-known face on the Oroo Anders circuit, having won the latest edition of the Shark Bay in Velden and often a strong performer in Oroo Anders-branded events. Thanks to his showing today, he takes home €5,000, while second and third-place finishers — Alessandro Scermino and Marinko Marco Papac — earn €3,000 and €2,000 respectively.
Juanito made his presence known early, already leading the field during the middle stages of the tournament with a stack nearly three times the average — around 500,000 chips. Finishing with nearly 900,000 allowed him to overtake Davide Ceglia’s strong performance from Day 1A and claim the top spot in the overall chip count.
