Entries 29/Left 4

Day 1D of the BPC Balcan Poker Circuit Main Event comes to an end with 4 players left — the second of today’s two scheduled flights, which saw 29 total entries and added another 4 players to Sunday’s Final Day. They will join the 48 qualified players through Days 1A, 1B, and 1C.

Today's best performer was Matteo Pasquetti, who claimed the chip leader bonus by just 2,000 chips and takes home €3,000, edging out Davide Nutarelli, who finishes with 454,000 and collects the €2,000 second-place prize.

It was a particularly intense battle between the two chip leaders. In the final stages of play, Pasquetti hit quad eights against Nutarelli, who had flopped a set of twos and made a full house on the turn. That key hand allowed Pasquetti to double up — and just a few hands later, once again against Nutarelli, he hit the nut flush, while Nutarelli had doubled on the turn with pocket aces before a fourth club fell on the river.

Top 5

With only four qualifiers today, there’s no Top 5 to display, but here’s a look at today’s key players and their stacks.

First place goes to Matteo Pasquetti with 457,000, followed by Davide Nutarelli with 454,000. Completing today’s rare four-player Top 4 are Domenico Montaruli with 303,000 and Thomas Carraro with 237,000.
