We knew there would be a lot of entries today, and indeed the room was packed for Day1I, despite a reduced capacity to make room for the next flight starting at 7pm.
The previous day's numbers were crossed as the counter today showed 205 entries, 74 of whom made it through to the next phase.
One-third of the field on Day2
Slaćan Todorović dominates the scene, bagging 559,000 chips in the plastic envelope that will be opened tomorrow on Day2.

A glance at the others
The second and third positions in the count are occupied by TASHO EHITAJ (360,000) and NICOLA BARILE (365,000), with ANNA DEL PRETE following a few blinds behind with 329,000.

Some other qualifiers for Day2 are TOMMASTO DILENA (27th with 186,000), ALESSANDRO SCERMINO (45th, 137,000), ANDREA BENELLI (46th 133,000), LORENZO ACAMPORA (47th, 122,000) and GIORGIO SILVESTRIN (54th with 86,000).
MARCO DE GAETANO closes the list with only 20,000 chips which at the start of Day2 will be worth 10 big blinds.
What a cooler!
Particularly mocking clashes are found in all poker tournaments, but the one between Andrea Saftich (top center) and Milos Stojkovic (to his left) is truly the cooler par excellence.
We run into Andrea just outside the poker room who is pawing to tell us what happened: "I opened with 5-5 and my opponent defended the BB. On 8♠️ 5❤️ 7♠️ A♣️ 5♠️ we end up with all chips in the middle and I say: ‘I' have the nut!’
