🇩🇪 Abed Ali Saad destroyed Day1 F!

Entries 336/ Left 41

And the second flight of the day here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Day 1F of the CNP Main Event, is now in the books. The entry count stopped at 336, bringing the total to nearly 800 entries today between Day 1E and 1F.

A total of 41 players qualified, adding to the 88 from the previous five flights, making a total of 129 players who are certain to return on Sunday afternoon for Day 2 with a (more or less) full bag of chips. The standout player of the evening flight is the German Abed Ali Saad (pictured below), who went on an incredible rush, skyrocketing from 200,000 chips to around 1.5 million. We spoke with him directly to hear his story:

"Earlier, I played the satellite, won the ticket, and entered the tournament. How did I manage to accumulate so many chips? The key hand was when I flopped quads with Q-Q. After that, I was dealt K-K and hit a set on the flop. In the next two hands, I found myself all-in both times with top two pair…

So, yeah, it was a great run today, I have to admit! No, I’m not a professional player; poker is just a hobby for me, although I do play every week"

The Top 5

Excluding the chip leader of the day, who also tops the overall count with 1,435,000, we find the Polish player Jacek Pawel Podpora in second place with 950,000, followed by Romanian Raul George Sav with 690,000.

The Top five are Italian Jacopo Eutizi, with 681,000, and German Markus Wellen, with 627,000. Below is the complete chip count of all 41 players who qualified for Day 2 from Day 1F.
