The Day 4 of the EPM 2,000,000 Main Event concludes with eight players left. Starting today with 31 remaining players, the play stopped as soon as the 9th place finisher, Attila Janos Almasi, was eliminated, earning a prize of 43,371 euros, including the WSOP Europe Main Event ticket.
The day's chip leader is the Romanian player Mario (pic below), his nickname, leading with 78 million chips. However, due to privacy concerns, today’s protagonist preferred not to be interviewed, made no statements, and kept his face covered throughout the streaming.

“I felt a bit stressed at the beginning, also because I had the same chair as when I ended up at the TV table the day before, but then I convinced myself it was a sign of destiny… The most important thing, however, is that I was looking at the prize pool with 500K for first place, and I wasn’t afraid.
It’s only been the sixth or eighth month that I’ve been playing live, although I have a lot of online experience. This fact allowed me to keep my cool even in high-pressure situations, like when I had to make a hero call in a blinds battle that doubled me up when I had about 20 million against ‘Pepa G.’
It’s crazy to play a final table like this; the first prize is a life-changing amount, and normally, for the average buy-in I play, it’s not easy to find myself in a similar situation. For me, every tournament is a battle that starts from the satellites, and a buy-in like this is not an everyday thing!”
