🇮🇹 Giuseppe Tarsia runs super-hot on Day1 F!

Entries 346/Left 44

Day 1F of the Pirates Poker Treasure Main Event comes to a close with 44 players qualifying out of 346 total entries. The flight kicked off this evening at 6 PM here at King’s Resort.

The standout performer of the day is Giuseppe Tarsia, who bagged 1.518.000 chips — enough to secure the first position on the overall count. Here's what he had to say at the end of the day.

"Yeah, today went really well. I saw a lot of hands. Got lucky in a couple of spots — two or three situations where I called as the third player with a marginal hand. But it was worth it, I made a flush, and that hand took me way up. It was a 400,000-chip pot, and the blinds were still at 4,000/8,000 at the time. That one really changed the momentum for me.

I’ve been lucky, I’ll admit it. It’s kind of strange… but I’ve seen a lot of things today, a lot of situations. I managed to make the most of them, so yeah — I’m happy.

It’s not the first time this has happened either. I’ve been chip leader on Day 1 a couple of times — once here in Rozvadov, once at an IPS event, and also at a USOP tournament, the €1K Masters.

And yeah, I made it to the final day in those events. So let’s see what happens on Sunday."
