Entries 240/ Left 52
The second flight of the day has also ended, bringing 52 players to Day 2 on Sunday afternoon out of a total of 240 entries, including re-entries.
There are currently 192 qualifiers, with the Turbo flight at 11:00 still to come. The total number of entries has risen to 1,098, which means the guaranteed €500,000 prize pool has already been comfortably surpassed.
Stealing the spotlight for the first time is a Slovenian player, Hašimovič Pašan (pic below), who finished the day with 554,000 chips—not the biggest stack overall, but enough to top Day 1E. Here are his thoughts at the end of the day:
“Everything went great. I had a good table, and the run was on my side. Any key spots? On the one hand, I made a Full House and won a nice pot, and that was the moment I could start putting pressure on my opponents.
I’m a professional; I play both online and live, and I hope to continue performing well in the coming days!”
La Top 5
In addition to Hašimovič Pašan, Italian Stefano Ferrara is second in the chip count with 420,000 chips, followed by Roberto Simionato with 394,000.
The Top 5 are Vincenzo Ruggiero with 369,000 and Willy Murgolo with 352,000, while newly-crowned bracelet winner Paolo Boi finishes just 1,000 chips behind Murgolo, with 351,000, in sixth place. Below is the complete list of the 52 qualifiers from Day 1E.
