🇮🇹 Flaviano Cammisuli crushed IPO Day2!

Entries 1349/ Left 41

Day 2 of the IPO Nova Gorica wrapped up at 4:30 in the morning, just like previous qualifying Day 1s, after nine levels of 60 minutes each (no longer 45), which will increase to 75 minutes at the final table.

Out of 1,349 entries, 41 players advanced, with a prize pool of €646,110 and a first prize of €120,000. A total of 135 positions will be paid. These are the final numbers for the Main Event, another great achievement by EuroRounders and PKLive360.

The standout of the day is a well-known and skilled regular in both the national and international circuits—Flaviano Cammisuli from Syracuse (pictured below), who closed the day with exactly 6 million chips, at an average of 1.3 million, roughly 4.5 times the average stack in play.

Already in the final levels of play, he had made his presence felt among the top spots in the count alongside Emilio Izvira, who was seated two positions to his left at table 31. After the final seat redraw, however, the big showdown arrived. The biggest pot we witnessed was the one against Roman Docenko, described below.

It’s the last level of the day, blinds at 20K/40K with a 40K ante. Docenko opens to 80K, and Cammisuli, to his left, 3-bets to 235K, Docenko calls.

The flop comes 10♥️ 4♣️ 3♦️, the original raiser checks, Cammisuli bets 235K, Docenko raises to 550K, and Cammisuli calls. The turn is a 6♥️, opening a flush draw. Docenko bets 650K, Cammisuli goes all-in, and Docenko folds.

Flaviano, happy to be chip leader but exhausted from the poker marathon, chose not to share much about his tournament, especially since the action will resume at noon with another particularly intense day ahead in less than eight hours.

The Top 5

In second place behind Cammisuli is former IPT winner Igor Saia with 2,950,000 chips, and Luca Delfino with 2,760,000. Rounding out the Top 5 are Mario Galić (2,295,000) and Alessio Ricci (2,090,000). Below is the full chip count, along with the seat redraw for tomorrow

IPO Master

In addition to the Main Event, the IPO Master, with a €1,100 buy-in, also took place today. It attracted 22 entries, with 13 players qualifying for Day 2. Late registration is still open for the first few levels. Below is the list of all the qualifiers.

IPO Sunday

Davide Cojaniz gave himself a fantastic birthday present by winning the IPO side event, which attracted 185 entries and generated a prize pool of over €37,000. Cojaniz claimed the victory without a deal despite having proposed one to his heads-up opponent, who preferred to play it out. His cash prize? Approximately €7,500.
