🇨🇿 Martin Utikal dominates IPS Day1 H!

Entries 587/ Left 80

The second flight scheduled for today has also come to a close here at King’s Resort during the IPS Main Event with a guaranteed one million euros, which saw another 587 entries, including 410 unique players and 177 re-entries, bringing 80 more players to Day 2 this afternoon.

This brings the total number of qualifiers to 292, while the number of entries has risen from 1,782 to 2,369, with the turbo flight at 11 still to come. The best player of the day was Czech Martin Utikal (pic below), who finished with 1,180,000 chips. Here’s what he shared with us at the end of the day:

It went pretty well, I was lucky! One of the key spots was around the second-to-last level, nothing special—just a coin flip A-K vs Q-Q, although the pot was over a million chips…

I’m pleased, especially since I don’t play that often, maybe five or six events yearly. Let’s hope I do well since I’ll start with a great stack!

La Top 5

In the top five positions, in addition to Martin Utikal, who has 1,180,000 chips, we find the German Dennis Rohde, who has 1,080,000, followed by Swiss player Manfred Karl Mueller, who has 917,000.

Macedonian Artiom Poddubnii holds fourth place with 905,000, followed by Romanian Bogdan Aleksandru Tilica with 749,000. Below is the complete chip count with all 80 qualifiers from Day 1H.
