The second of today’s two scheduled flights at King’s Resort in Rostov-on-Don has also ended— the EPS Main Event Day 1F, played in Speed format with 30-minute levels.
Following the huge success of the morning flight, the evening session also posted impressive numbers, with 718 entries recorded in this second flight of the day and 94 players advancing to Day 2.
The best among them was Slovakia’s Lukas, who bagged 1,108,000 chips. A man of few words, despite his radiant smile in the photo, he shared his thoughts:
“It was the first flight I played. I arrived just this evening and decided to jump into the evening session, making it through with a strong stack on a single bullet—not something that happens every day. Yes, I play poker professionally and hope to do well in the coming days.”
Top 5
Looking at the Top 5, alongside the already mentioned Lukas with 1,108,000, we find Dutch player Mr. Pain with 1,090,000, followed by Germany’s Grindr OG, who surprisingly bagged 1,931,000.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Turkish player Firat Aktag with 925,000 and Italy’s Antonio Lombardo with 825,000. The full list of all 94 players who qualified for Day 2 through Day 1F can be found below.
