Entries 1161/ Left 163

The Day 1H at King’s Resort in Rozvadov has just concluded, marking the second fight scheduled in this EPS, the Italian Poker Sport Main Event. This flight added another 163 players to Day 2, bringing the total number of entries to 1,161.

It was truly an incredible day at King’s, with nearly 2,800 registrations in a single day between Day 1G and Day 1H. These numbers have already far exceeded the €1.5 million guarantee, pushing the prize pool to over €1.8 million.

The day's best performer was Greece’s Thomas Megas, who managed to bag 1,103,000 chips at the end of the flight. Here’s what he told us immediately after:

“It was a rather strange day because, in reality, my tournament was quite anonymous until the last levels. Then, thanks to a few crucial double-ups, I went from 100,000 to 500,000, and here I am now with over a million chips. It’s the first time I’ve finished as a chip leader on a Day 1, and I hope to do just as well in the coming days.”

Top 5

As for today’s top five, alongside Thomas Megas (1,103,000), we find Bosnia’s Elvedin Mervan (1,030,000) in second place, followed by Romania’s Codrin Paul Macovei (993,000).

The top five is completed by another Greek player, Stavros Zounis (850,000), while in fifth place stands Italy’s Umberto Cianfanelli (847,000). Below is the complete list of all 163 players who qualified for Day 2 from Day 1H.
