Here we are, finally bringing you the Final Table of the Italian Poker Sport Main Event 54th edition, which has just begun here at King’s Resort Rozvadov after the eliminations of the three remaining players on the Final Day, which started at 4:00 PM.


The first to leave the field earlier than expected were Italian Giacinto Luca Moschella, who cashes €19,000, followed by Pavel53, who finishes in 11th place for €21,400. The Final Table bubble belongs to Romanian Vladimir Cocis, who also takes home €21,400.

The tournament is heating up at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, as only 16 players remain in the Italian Poker Sport Main Event, all fighting for a seat at the final table.


Players have just returned to their seats after a 15-minute break following the last seat redraw, and action resumes at Level 34, with blinds set at 300,000/600,000 and a 600,000 ante. The average stack now stands at 21,000,000 chips, equivalent to 35 big blinds.


The minimum payout at this stage is €14,800, but it’s worth noting that the top eight finishers will also receive a WSOP Europe Main Event ticket for the upcoming winter edition.


Play will continue through Level 34 and, if necessary, into Level 35, unless the final table is reached beforehand.


Meanwhile, at the IPS Closer, the final table has been set, with eight players battling for the €7,225 top prize.

The players competing in Day 3 of the Italian Poker Sport Main Event are about to return to the tables, with 48 contenders still in the hunt for a seat in tomorrow’s Final Day. Action will resume at blinds of 125,000/250,000 with a 250,000 ante, while the average stack stands at 7,298,000 chips.


During the break, we took a quick walk around the tables to spot the biggest stacks in play and put together a solid top 10 ranking, which we present below.


Meanwhile, the new level of the ETS Closer is also underway, currently boasting 286 entries and 135 players still battling at the tables. With blinds set at 600/1,200 and a 20,200 ante, the prize pool has already climbed to €36,000—an impressive €20,000 beyond the guarantee. We’re deep into Day 3 of the IPS here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, approaching the second 15-minute break of the day. The tournament is currently in Level 27 at 60,000/120,000 with a 120,000 ante, with the average stack at 4,799,000 chips. Only 73 players remain from a massive 7,700-entry field, and we took a quick tour of the tables to check out the biggest stacks in play.


At the top of the leaderboard is 🇨🇿 Pavel53, who holds 16 million chips, followed closely by 🇮🇹 “Il Campione del Mondo”, currently sitting on 14 million. 🇲🇰 MKD isn’t far behind with 13 million, while 🇲🇩 Alexandru Moraru is also in contention with 11.5 million.


🇮🇹 Andrea Sutera has built a solid stack of 10 million, keeping himself among the leaders, while 🇮🇹 Giorgio Soceanu, who finished Day 2 second in chips, continues his deep run with over 9 million, nearly twice the tournament average. Right next to him in the standings is 🇮🇹 Montana, also sitting at 9 million. Meanwhile, 🇮🇹 Michele Tocci, after fluctuating between short and average stack throughout the tournament, currently holds 4.5 million chips.


Alongside the Main Event, action is also underway in the IPS Closer, which currently boasts 112 entries with 105 players still in contention. The event, featuring a €150 buy-in, has a guaranteed prize pool of €15,000, though that number is expected to grow as registrations continue. The tournament is in its second level, and the field is still expanding.

We’re approaching the first break of the day here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, where Day 3 of the IPS Italian Poker Sport has reached the 111-player mark, out of a total 7,007 entries. Players now have 15 minutes to rest before action resumes at Level 50,000/100,000 with a 100,000 ante. The StackMate currently stands at 30,100,000 chips, which translates to around 30 big blinds as the tournament average.


Many familiar names and local regulars are still in the mix, including a surprising Michele Tocci, who had been hovering between 15 and 20 big blinds but now sits comfortably above average with around 35 BB.


Meanwhile, Giorgio Soceanu, the Italian-Romanian who finished second in chips yesterday, continues his deep run and currently holds roughly twice the average stack. Also making waves is Chikkita Banana, a well-known local regular and a standout from Day 1A and 1B, who is currently working with a stack of around 5,000,000 chips.

The IPS Day 2, featuring a €1,500,000 guarantee, has reached the 234-player mark here at King’s Resort. The blinds are currently set at 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 ante, and the average stack stands at 1,500,000 chips. The first-place prize is €250,000, along with a ticket for the WSOPE Main Event.


Meanwhile, the iRoller event, with a €1,000 buy-in, attracted 331 entries and is now down to 83 players, battling in Level 15. The blinds have increased to 8,000/16,000 with a 16,000 ante, and the winner will take home €58,385. As a one-day tournament, given the high turnout, it is likely that the champion will be crowned in the early morning hours.

We are live from King’s Resort in Rozvadov, covering a record-breaking tournament for the Czech poker room, second only to the 2023 Estrellas Poker Tour in terms of entries. With 7,007 registrations, the prize pool has soared to €2,263,261, while the first-place prize stands at €250,000. Additionally, the top 8 finalists will receive tickets for the WSPU Main Event scheduled for this winter.


Currently, 589 players remain in contention, battling at the tables with blinds at 8,000/16,000. The StackMate has climbed to 615,000 chips, and the minimum cash has reached €719 following the elimination of approximately 200 players. The action will continue for the current level plus another one-hour level, before a 15-minute second break of the day.

The 292 remaining players in Day 1H Speed of the EPS Italian Poker Sport Main Event, featuring 30-minute levels, have returned to their seats after the final break of the day. They will battle it out for four more levels, meaning two more hours of play before bagging and tagging, with the final count set to be determined—pending, of course, tomorrow’s Turbo Flight.


The total number of entries has reached 1,161, which is now official. Play is currently at blinds 3,000-6,000 with a 6,000 ante, while the average stack stands at 200,000 chips.


Meanwhile, the prize pool has climbed to €1,844,000, already €300,000 over the guarantee, with still the Turbo Flight left to be played tomorrow.

We are deep into Level 13 at the Day 1G Record Flight, with 363 players still battling at the tables. The blinds are currently 3,000-6,000 with a 6,000 ante, and the average stack sits at 227,000 chips. As mentioned in the previous update, late registration is closed, and play will continue for two more levels plus the current one, meaning approximately two more hours before the end of the day.


Meanwhile, over at Day 1H Speed, the second flight of the day, the 40-minute break has just begun. After the first four levels of play, the event has already recorded 728 entries, with 574 players still in action. Play will resume with blinds at 400-800, and the average stack at 63,000 chips, which is 13,000 more than the starting stack.


The prize pool has already surpassed €1,700,000, and expectations are high for a significant increase, considering tomorrow’s Turbo Flight and the remaining registrations before late registration closes for Day 1H.


Sat 1 Feb - 19:15 - What a day at King's Resort!



Late registration has officially closed for Day 1G of the IPS Italian Poker Sport Main Event, and the numbers have set a new record. A total of 1,653 entries were recorded, with 566 players still in action at blinds 2,000-4,000 with a 4,000 ante.


Play is currently in Level 11, which will continue for another 30 minutes, followed by one more level before the final 30-minute break of the day. The guaranteed prize pool has already been surpassed, and we can now confirm it as the next flight, Day 1H Speed, has kicked off on the left side of the room.


The Speed format features 30-minute levels and has already attracted 379 entries, with 375 players currently seated, meaning the first four eliminations are already on the books.


Sat 1 Feb - 17:30 - The largest European single flight of all time!



As we write, the entry count continues to rise, but we can already confirm that the European record for a single flight has been broken, thanks to the 1,581 entries recorded on Day 1G of the Italian PokerSport Main Event.


We are currently in the eighth level of play, with only a few minutes left on the clock before the start of level nine at blinds 1,000-2,000 with a 2,000 ante. The average stack stands at 95,000 chips, and 825 players are still seated at the tables, battling for a spot on Day 2 on Sunday.


Meanwhile, the second flight of the day—the Speed format with 30-minute levels—is also starting to fill up. Due to today’s massive turnout, it will now begin at 19:00 instead of 18:00. There are already 110 registered players, and the number is rising rapidly.

After the first six levels of play, we have reached the second break—the longest one, lasting 30 minutes—here at King’s Resort in Rotterdam. The venue is rarely this packed, as we have already recorded 1,400 entries in the morning flight, Day 1G, with 924 players still physically present in the main hall.


Play will resume after the break at blinds 600-1,200 with a 1,200 ante, with the average stack sitting at 75,000 chips. There are still five levels of late registration remaining, meaning this flight is highly likely to set a record, becoming the largest in King’s Resort history and the biggest ever played in Europe.

The Day 1e of the IPS Italian Poker Sport has reached 894 entries and is currently on a 15-minute break, with 207 players still competing at the tables. After the break, play will resume at level 3,000-6,000 for four more levels, until the end of level 16, while the average stack has reached 213,005, four times the starting stack.


A break also for Day 1F-Speed, but for 40 minutes, as play has reached level 4. Action will resume at blinds 400-800 with an 800 ante in about 20 minutes. So far, 446 entries have been recorded, with 368 players still in the game and an average stack of 60,000 chips.


Meanwhile, 29 players remain in the PLO 8-Max One Day event, which has now reached level 13, with blinds at 4,000-8,000 and an 8,000 ante.


Fri 31 Jan - 18:45 - Two flights underway simultaneously!



We have reached Level 10 here at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov for Day 1. With 879 entries—and this is not yet the final number, as 15 minutes remain before late registration closes—the blinds are at 1,500/3,000 (3,000 ante), and the average stack is 130,000 chips.


One player who has already made a statement is Howard Taney, who has amassed a stack five times the tournament average, while 333 players remain in contention.


Meanwhile, Day 1F, the second flight of the day, has also kicked off. Featuring 30-minute levels, it is currently in the second level of play, with 244 entries and 240 players still seated. The blinds are 100/300 (300 ante), and the average stack is still close to the starting stack. Play will continue for two more levels plus the current one before the 40-minute dinner break.


As for the PLO 8-Max One-Day Event, registrations have closed at 114 entries, with 35 players still in the race, creating a total prize pool of €33,515. The first-place prize is €8,631, with 15 players making the money.

We knew it could be an exciting day, but we didn’t expect it to exceed all forecasts. By Level 8 (blinds 800-1,600), today’s entries have already reached 823, which is 100 more than the record-breaking edition from last year.


There are still 473 players battling at the tables, with an average stack just below 90,000 chips. We remind you that there are still two more levels to register or re-enter, plus the current one—meaning that late registration remains open for 120 minutes, including an additional 15-minute break.


Meanwhile, the IPS PLO 8-Max is also underway as a one-day event, currently counting 90 entries, with 51 players still seated. The level is 600-1,200, ante 200, and the tournament will continue for three more levels before late registration closes.


Everything is also set for Day 1F, which will begin shortly, but we will provide further updates on that later.

After the first six levels of play, the entry count has already reached 720, an impressive number for a Friday’s first flight, with 471 players still in action.


The Day 1D of the EPS Italian Poker Sport Main Event is approaching its second break of the day, with 12 minutes remaining before the level ends and the 40-minute break begins, allowing players to refresh and regain focus.


The current level is 500/000, meaning the game will resume at 600/200. The average stack is 76,000 chips, starting from 50,000 chips.


This afternoon, starting at 6:00 PM, the Flight Speed will also take place, featuring 30-minute levels, marking the beginning of Day 1E.

Final break of the day at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, where Day 1 of the Speed event recorded an official total of 381 entries. Right now, 106 players remain in the field, battling at 2,000/5,000 blinds, with an average stack of 180,000 chips.


Play will resume for about five more minutes before the final break of the day, lasting 15 minutes. After that, action will continue for four more levels, concluding with Level 16 at approximately 2:30 AM.
