Entries 1922/ Left 24
Day 2 of the PPT Main Event has concluded with 1,922 entries. Only 24 players are still in the running for the title.
The first-place prize is set at €73,000, a coveted amount for all the remaining participants. Israeli player Yosefi Cohen leads the tournament and has collected a whopping 1,197,500 chips, putting himself in a strong position for the final stages. Here's what he told us at the end of the day:
"I started with 470K and qualified yesterday on Day 1F. Everything went great, I had several opponents who tried to bluff me in different situations, and I had some good bluff catchers to make the calls. Of course, I also won a few flips against short-stack players, and here I am!
Yes, I’m a regular, and I mostly play online, although I really enjoy playing live tournaments. Tomorrow is going to be a great battle!"
The Top 5
In the Top five, besides chip leader Yosefi Cohen, we have German player Pistol Pete with 11,400,000 chips and Czech player Alpine Nemesis with 8,100,000 chips.
The Top 5 is rounded out by Italian player Giovanni Capitano, who has accumulated 5,650,000 chips, and Israeli player Ron Ieda with 5,425,000 chips. Below is the full leaderboard with all 24 players qualified for the Final Day of the PP Tour Main Event.
