The usual Sunday marathon, at least for those who qualified through this morning's turbo flight at noon, ended at 4:30 at night bringing the field from 152 players to 24 after about 11 hours of play (Day 2 began at 17:00).
The prize pool generated is €175,700, the result of the 564 entries totaled in the 5 qualifying flights, while the first prize for the winner is €30,000 round.
Imposing himself like a hammer right from the early stages of the Day was Alija Beširević (photo below), a regular in these parts, who already after four levels could boast a stack equal to 5/6 times the tournament average. He closed with 3,695,000, "only" three times the average.
Unfortunately, we were unable to wrest a joke from the protagonist due to his lack of availability and a considerable language barrier. However, we did ask Davide Cojaniz, at his table for most of Day2, for his opinion:
"He's a gentleman who doesn't play that many hands, but when he decides to enter the pot he goes straight to the end and there's no way to change his mind. He certainly has some peculiarities that can get you in trouble, such as opening-raising all-in preflop even though there are big stacks in play and over 40/50 blinds...
Even if he's not a fine connoisseur of optimal strategies, he has a sense of the game and manages to disentangle himself very well in a field like this one."
The Top 5
Besides the aforementioned Alija Beširević, in second place is Massimo Schiralli at 3,095,000, followed by Giacomo Bertani at 3,095,000. Fourth place for Antonio Masciale (2,825,000) and fifth for Škorjanc Jernej (2,305,000).
Davide Cojaniz (2,075,000), Carmine Masciale (Antonio's brother with 1,825,000 chips), and Niki Prela (1,380,000) also advance to the Final Day. Choi Kyung Ok (260,000) closes the ranking of the 24 finalists.

ReMida Poker Team - Rules
1)Form a team of 5 members and register it on the portal www.eurorounders.com/team before the start of Day1A, the team that scores the most points will win the Bonus of €20,000, the second best team €10,000 and the third best team €5,000
2) Players without a team may also participate in the tournament but will lose their chance to compete for the Bests Team Bonus
3) Each team must indicate at the time of registration its captain, who will be responsible for all communication between the team and Euro Rounders and will be the one who will be awarded the Bonus of €20,000. All five team members are obliged to register for the tournament, otherwise the team will be disqualified. Any changes to the team must be received before the start of Day 1A via the portal www.eurorounders.com/team.
4) Team lists will be visible at www.eurorounders.com/team.
5) In case a member of the team does not show up due to other commitments, the team can make use of one (and only one) wild card, i.e. a component to be inserted in the team to complete the roster of the 5, provided that this last added component has not yet played any Day of the Remida Team Main Event schedule. The wild card can be replaced even if previously communicated, as long as he/she has not yet played any Day of the Remida Team Main Event schedule.
6) Points will be awarded to each team member who reaches the various missions: - mission qualification to Day2: 5 points - mission ITM zone (ITM 8% total entries): 20 points - mission final table of 9 players: 35 points - mission podium: 55 points EXAMPLES COUNTING POINTS: player who arrives second in the tournament entered in the YELLOW TEAM: 55 points player who arrives eighth in the tournament entered in the YELLOW TEAM: 35 points the other 3 players of the YELLOW TEAM do not reach the qualification to Day2: 0 points Total points YELLOW TEAM: 90 points
7) In case of equal points the prize will be divided equally between the various teams
8) As far as possible, the tournament management will ensure that members of the same team are not at the same table. In cases where this cannot be avoided, any attempt at collusion will be punished as in a normal tournament out of respect for players participating in the event without a team.
9) Team captains must check the scores and, in the event of an error, report it within 24 hours of the update or no later than the awarding of prizes. From then on, no corrections can be made. The bonus must be handed over to the captain, if he/she is not present, the vice-captain must be indicated by the delivery of the prizes by filling in the proxy form to be requested from info@eurorounders.com.
10) During the period of validity of these Regulations, the Tournament Management may, at its sole discretion, make additions to the same for organizational and functional requirements. The Tournament Management may, due to unforeseen or unexpected events, introduce modifications and additions to protect and safeguard the event
