The second day of play in this ReMida Poker Team, which saw 101 players at the starting line from the five flights played between this morning and the previous days, ended at 24 left.
A small marathon for those who started at 12.30 with Day1 E Speed and found themselves sitting at the tables for over 13 hours straight. Even for the other qualifiers, it certainly wasn't a walk in the park, especially in the bubble phase where not only the min cash was up for grabs but above all the points needed to compete for the Team ranking.
A detail of no small importance given the 20K reserved for the best Team, together with the 10K for the second and the 5K for the third. At the end of the 23rd level of play, it was Dejan Maksimović (photo below) who looked down on everyone thanks to the 2,500,000 chips he had bagged up, which at the resumption of play (15K/30K, ante 30K) will correspond to around 83 big blinds.
The Top 5
Good Niki Prela, chipleader at the start, failed to repeat the performance that put him at the top of the Day1A count, finding elimination after the first few levels of play. The unmatched Dejan Maksimović took it upon himself to lead the pack, although Luca Audino, with his 2,025,000 chips, certainly wasn't one to watch.
Third place in the provisional count goes to Nicola Todesco with 1,675,000, while Andrea Michelotto (1,405,000) and Giuseppe Lomastro (1,360,000) round out the Top 5. In splendid form last year's finalist Mario Galić (10th with 750,000), while Team EvBets' pair of Dario Quattrucci and Fabrizio Marancio remain in the running on both fronts (535K for the former 650K for the latter.
Roberto Roberti also qualifies albeit in penultimate position with 360,000 chips, the equivalent of 12 big blinds at the level change. Giuanluca Cammarata closes the list at 275,000. Below is the unofficial chipcount with seat redraw for the final day.

The team ranking
It will be a really good fight tomorrow afternoon as far as the team question is concerned: 'Medicina et lex' (the team formed by Andrea Michelotto, Andrea Campi, Michele Caroli, Marcello Montagner and Carlo Arrigoni) is, for now, in the lead with 60 points and 3 members still in the race.
Only 5 points behind are Team Daždevnjaci (Mario Galic, Andro Scarpa, Gaspar Perasovic, Danijel Tatarovic and Ante Mazarekic) in second place with two players still in the running (Galic and Tatarovic).
Third, or tied for second if you prefer, is Team EvBets (Dario Quattrucci, Daniele Casino, Valter Proia, Nico Cadoni, Fabrizio Marancio): Quattrucci, the captain, and Marancio are still in the running, both with a stack of around 20 big blinds.
Fourth and fifth place for "Lingottino" (Giancarlo Imperati, Andrea Braccini, Mattia Valitutto, Gianmarco Vassallo, and Martino Di Pierro) and "VPE1" (Davide Goffredo, Luciano Dellisanti, Nicola Todesco, Graziano De Prisco, Maurizio Modica) with 50 points each.
