Entries 97/ Left 25
Day 1F of the SharkBay Grand Final Main Event, boasting a €200,000 guaranteed prize pool, saw 97 entries, with 25 players advancing to Sunday’s Final Day.
Stealing the spotlight today was Marco D’Addetta from Puglia, who ended the day with an impressive stack of 619,000 chips. Here’s how he recounted his tournament:
“I didn’t get off to the best start, as I found myself in a hand with Ace-Queen of hearts against pocket Jacks and pocket 8s. We ended up all-in on the flop, and one of the opponents held pocket 8s. Left with just 6,000 chips, I managed to grind my way back up, and I’m very pleased to finish with a stack like this.
It was my first time here at Perla, so I can’t complain. In life, I do something else, but poker is a big passion of mine, and I’ve recently been trying my hand at sit & go lottery format through a staking school. Hopefully, I’ll do well on Sunday too!”
