Entries 121/Left 21

The first day of play wraps up here at the GC Poker Room in Bender, Liechtenstein, where Day 1A of The Warriors Main Event Special Prize, featuring a CHF 300 buy-in, saw 121 players participate and 21 advance to Day 2 on Sunday.
Leading the pack is Swiss player Fabian Marrer, the only one to truly dominate, finishing the day with an impressive stack of 952,000 chips. Here’s what he had to say after the dust settled:

“It was a day where everything seemed to go my way, especially in a hand where I went all-in with Jacks against Ace-Queen and Kings. Luckily, I hit a set on the turn and river, and that pot gave me a significant advantage in the later stages of the tournament.
After that, it was all about managing my stack and leveraging its strength. This is the first time I’ve ended a Day 1 as the chip leader. I don’t do this for a living, but I love playing poker and often come here. I hope my run continues in the coming days.”
Top 5
As for the top five stacks, in addition to Marrer with 952,000, we have another Swiss player, Marco Meisser, with 565,000, followed by Marc Von Wartburg at 428,000.
Rounding out the top five are Noah with 353,000 and Andrin Metzger with 280,000—both also from Switzerland. Below, you’ll find the full chip count of the 21 players who advanced to Day 2 from Day 1A.
