“Everything went smoothly as I started with a stack that gave me a lot of manoeuvrability. The pocket aces versus kings hand was crucial, but overall, I always managed to stay in control.
I’ll return tomorrow with a great stack, and it’s not the first time I’ve been chip leader across all three days. Hopefully, I can finish with a good result tomorrow.
The field I faced was quite soft, and a bit of luck never hurts. I’ve even won a tournament before where I was the chip leader for all the previous days, but it was a smaller event. If I could do the same here, it would be even sweeter.”
