After about 8 hours of battle, The Warrior’s Main Event concludes here at the GC Poker Room in Bendern, Liechtenstein, with the Swiss player Happy Nico triumphing after a deal was made with 5 players left.
A not-so-predictable outcome, considering that HappyNiko was not among the favourites, especially after on Day1 and Day2 he experienced phases where they found themselves with particularly short stacks and needed lucky double-ups.
"I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a three-day poker event like the one that just passed. Let’s say… it was almost a matter of karma. I felt that this could be my event, and on several occasions, I had to take some risks and was consistently rewarded.
I have many passions in life, and poker is simply one of them. I am very happy with this result. When I get home, I can celebrate with my club friends!"
Now, let’s try to retrace the key moments of an exciting final table together. Elimination by elimination.
