Entries 96/ Left 13
It's starting to get serious at the GC poker room with The Warriors Main Event which, yesterday, saw no less than two Day2 qualifying flights take place. Let's start by telling you about the first, Day1 E, which started at 13:00 and finished around midnight with 58 single players and 38 re-entries, for a total of 96 entries.
Thirteen players qualified, which, added to the 58 from the four flights already played, brings the total to 67, and the number of entries to 429 when added to the 333 already in the archives.
The Top 5
We had to wait five flights to find someone able to break through the 700,000 chip wall: it was the Swiss 🇨🇭Xhavit Berisha (751,000) who took the head of the count for the Day being played and the overall count in one fell swoop, putting around 100,000 chips between himself and his direct pursuer, the Day1C chip leader 🇨🇭Fatos Haxhaj.
He is closely followed by two other compatriots, 🇨🇭Oliver at 578,000 and 🇨🇭Roger Imesch at 575,000. The fourth place went to another Swiss, Peter Robert (402,000), while the top five stacks were closed by Hungary's 🇭🇺Dalibor Mijic (358,000).
The count is closed by none other than the last edition's winner, Alessandro Ferrari: only 52,000 for him, who on Sunday will have to roll up his sleeves and hope for the mercy of Lady Luck to continue his run. The complete list of qualifiers from Day 1 E follows.
