The first flight of the CHF1,100 Wolf High Roller closed with 39 entries and 14 qualified, which today allowed participants to enter with the special price set at CHF900+100.
It wasn't just the High Roller today, because at the same time Day 1 B of the Red Wolf was held, with a total of 43 entries, taking 8 players to Day 2, which added to the 13 who qualified yesterday, bringing the total to 21.
We would like to remind you that it is possible to register for the first 2 levels of the Day with a 200,000 stack and CHF500 buy-in.
Wolf High Roller
The best of the survivors answers to the name of Lorenzo Roder, who was able to accumulate 492,200 chips for the next day :
"To tell the truth, the day didn't start very well," Lorenzo said at the end of the day, "as I had to re-entry in the first few levels of play! Otherwise, I can't complain, I had a few situations where I managed to maximize my play and in the end, I closed with a very good stack ahead of Day 2.
No, it's not the first time I've finished as the chip leader at a Day1, even though I'm an amateur I have good experience in live tournaments and I've had several results, including a first place at the Swiss poker championship."
Immediately behind the chip leader is the unfailing Claudio Piceci (first photo above left) who closes at 450,300, followed by Marco Honneger at 420,200. Kamil Malinowski (275,600) and "LM" at 244,100 close the Top 5.
Also qualifying is the good "Emmella", winner of the IPO Main Event (178.100), as well as Atac Salih (206.400) whom we interviewed a few months ago (CLICK HERE for the video).
