Entries 321/ Left 85
The action wraps up at 11:30 PM with Day 1B still underway. The first of two flights scheduled for today, Day 1A of the WCP Circuit Main Event, saw 321 entries, with 85 players advancing to Day 2, which will take place on Monday.
The day's best performer was Romanian Adrian Kazaku, who accumulated 483,000 chips, securing the chip lead. Here’s what the Romanian pro had to say at the end of the day:
“I was in ‘run like God’ mode. They called me when I had the best hand, and they folded when I was bluffing… I didn’t lose a single pot, and when it goes like that, it’s easier! Yes, I play professionally, especially here at the King’s.
Is this my first time finishing as the chip leader on a Day1? No, my playing style is such that I either bag big or I’m out. I rarely make Day 2 as a short stack. I also played the Mini Main Event, but I didn’t go beyond ITM. Let’s hope to do better here!”
Top 5
As for the Top 5, in addition to the already mentioned Adrian Kazaku, the list includes Italian Miki Blasi with 428,000 chips, followed by another Italian, Matteo Intiso, with 394,000 chips. The Top 5 is rounded out by Israeli Guy Zohar with 391,000 chips and German Rem, also with 391,000 chips.
Below is the full list of all 85 players who qualified for Day 2 through the first flight scheduled for this weekend’s WCP Circuit Main Event.
